Labeled Craft Bags

Our Little Foxes box came with directions and materials to make 3 superhero crafts (cape, arm bands, and mask) and a pompom popper. The bags were labeled and the materials were nicely organized. The directions were very basic (no words – only some simple illustrations). Each box also comes with a merit badge that you can save and collect.

Popper

My daughter had fun with the popper but unfortunately she kept pulling on the balloon a little too hard and completely removing it from the cup, so we had to practice that a bit.

Mask

Cape

The mask and cape came out pretty well but the box didn’t have the right amount of Velcro dots to make both projects (they mailed the rough Velcro dots but the not the smooth ones to attach to the rough). Luckily we did these crafts at grandma’s house and she had some extra Velcro that we used. The arm bands were a complete fail. They stayed on only long enough to snap this photo. The Velcro wasn’t sticking to the felt so they kept coming undone.

Frisbee and Cup

Also included in the box were a nylon foldable Frisbee and a small travel mug. They suggested using the Frisbee as a superhero shield.

Verdict:  My son and I weren’t impressed with this box unfortunately. I felt that the directions and materials were lacking in quality. We’ve found other kid’s craft subscription boxes to have more creative projects and better value for the money.
