I got my box last week and love it! It had all the pictures makeup, Sunnylife towel, a cute little spray lavender hand sanitizer, a Self magazine, a travel wet brush, and travel Blo Pro texturizing spray.

Lisa

Well it seems like the tote was in the spoiler so it should have been included…. This is disappointing!

Katie

I received my box today and was very disappointed. It was nothing like the spoilers. I was so upset that I canceled it.

Sara

I got mine today and I’m also disappointed. I think the spoiler picture was VERY misleading! I got the straw tote, the same makeup they showed in the picture, and a 2 oz blowpro texturizing mist. I also got a Fruit of the Earth (like the kind you buy at Wal-Mart, but in a .75 oz travel size) aloe vera gel. There was no wet brush or makeup pouch. It’s still a good value, but not at all what I thought we’d be getting. They should have put a disclaimer on the picture, that items represented just a few things that COULD be in the box.

Moe

Wow- that is disappointing. I was expecting a lot more based on the photo above.

FYI, I just got my box today; it didn’t say if this is the June box – no literature inside. I got the two eyeliners, makeup palette and two mascaras shown in the June spoiler. I also received a Sunnylife beach towel and travel sizes of Banana Boat sunblock, Fruit of the Earth Aloe Vera gel, and blowpro beach blow.

Wow! That sounds like a great box!! Thanks for letting us know! 🙂

Lisa

I was informed that they will ship next week.

Angie

Does anyone know when they start shipping? I don’t see info about when the monthly edit ships.

Lisa

I would like to know this too.

I was one who also liked the lipsticks we received in a different box…so much so that I placed an order for other things on their website. Their BB cream is really nice – the perfect amount of coverage yet it still feels like a moisturizer. Their concealer, for me, is the HG of concealers. It covers my flaws…flawlessly. I didn’t love the eyeliner because it was too tiny, but of course I loved the additional lippies I purchased. Their mascara was quite nice, too. Oh, and the blush/lip flexible thingy layers really well, though I’ve only used it on my cheeks. I’ll be buying the products again, for sure, so this box is tempting!

I’m glad to hear that about the bb cream and the concealer, because I haven’t tried those yet.

Coreen

Love it! Take my money! I’m taking a break from popsugar right now and this will be a perfect substitute.

Took the plunge on the 3 month subscription and it stated it would auto renew at $125 every 3 months. So looks like the discount stays.

Hi Sheryl!
Thank you so much for subscribing to our Essential Edits!
That’s right! The discount with your subscription will apply on your next billing cycle. Please feel free to reach out at [email protected] if you have any questions regarding your edits.

Moe

If we subscribe now, would we be getting the June box?

Sara

I took the plunge, just because I love the lipsticks we got in the Popsugar box. But, already I have a problem because they didn’t email the receipt and there’s no option to sign in and Check my account. Which is weird, since there were links on the confirmation page to manage subscription, billing, etc. I don’t know how you’re supposed to do that if you can’t even create an account or sign in.

Hi Sara!
We’re sorry you were having some problems with receiving your order confirmation. We have just replied you via email! Talk soon!

Sara

Thank you for the replies on this thread. @ Stowaway, I sent an email last night and have already received a response. No worries and I’m looking forward to the subscription. The lipsticks sent in the Popsugar box are incredible. It will be great to try more from Stowaway.

Sheryl

It actually asked me to set up an account right after I ordered. It asked for a password then sent me a verification link. Once clicked you can view your account, next billing date and even cancel the subscription.

Renee

I wouldn’t worry about it. I had the same issue, and it took awhile for the mystery box to be sent. But it did come, and everything was in great shape. They are responsive to emails I have found.

Renee

Some of the products in this sub were featured in Stowaway’s most recent mystery bags. This set is actually quite a deal.
The eyeshadow palette sells for $25, the mascaras are $12 each, the eyeliners are $12 each, the Blowpro dry shampoo is $9.50, the brush is about $10, the makeup bag sells for a ridiculous $35 or so, and the tote is absolutely huge and retails for $185.00.
So, buying June’s box is like purchasing the palette, a liner, and a mascara and getting the rest for free.

Cindy

I’ve tried Blowpro dry shampoo and it’s one of the worst I’ve ever tried.

Is the picture showing the actual full contents of the sub?

Reply ButtonReply

Renee

Cindy, I’m sorry I don’t know. I just recognized some of the products in the June promotional image from the Mystery Bag I bought a couple of months ago. I don’t work for Stowaway (although maybe they should give me a referral reward!) I’m sure they’d be willing to answer your question if you contacted them. It would be good to know if everyone is getting the same items or not.

Rachel

I’ve been trying to find reviews of their mystery deals all over the place! Would you mind sharing what’s been included? Have been debating biting the bullet :).

Reply ButtonReply

Renee

I know! I couldn’t find any reviews either. I purchased the $150 one, and I received:
Tobago Tote (pictured above in Liz’s photo of the June box)- $145
Ale by Alessandra Petit Marche cosmetic bag- (also pictured above)- $35
Physician Endorsed Sanibel Hat- $43
Sunnylife Luxe Beach Towel- Pattern Lennox (this was nice and thick)- $55
Two eyeliners- Spice (metallic brown) and Jet (black)- $20
All three of their lip and cheek rouge- Peony, Cantaloupe, and Burnt Rose- $45
Two mascaras (one of each formula)- $24
Three lipsticks- Peony, Champagne, and Scarlet- $45
Sunnylife Beach Flyer (basically a hard plastic frisbee; this thing would hurt if you got hit with it)- $15
So, a total of over $400 worth of products.

Laura

Do you know brand/type the tote is?

Reply ButtonReply

Stowaway Cosmetics

Hi Laura,
Renee from the previous comment is correct! The tote is the Tobago bag from Global Glamour Fashion. Here is the link to the tote bag: http://physicianendorsed.com/product/tobago/ The one we have in stock is the natura/turquoise. Let us know if you have any other questions at [email protected]! Happy to help.

Renee

The brand is Global Glamour Fashion and the style is Tobago. The size is 24x14x8.
I’m not sure if I can add links, but I did see it at solescapes dot com for $145.
It is not lined.

Jeein

$50 for a vague box that seems to deliver beauty items? Ill keep an eye out but most likely no.

Reply ButtonReply

Cindy

And $50 for a promised value of at least $70—that doesn’t seem like a good promise!

Reply ButtonReply

Katherine

I think this is going to be some Popsugar competition. Cool!

Julia

Emily

Yes!!

Reply ButtonReply

Tamara

I was impressed by the quality of the Stowaway lipsticks in December’s PSMH box, but $50 is way too expensive for a beauty sub. It looks like there will be non-beauty items included but it’s not clear what to expect in that regard. I’ll watch out for reviews for now.

Reply ButtonReply

Karen

I would have to see reviews of this box first before making a commitment. It’s more expensive than tried and true boxes such as Boxycharm and Beautyfix. I am on product overload as it is so another beauty box will not really enhance my life dramatically.

Reply ButtonReply

mtvb

Way, way too expensive.

Reply ButtonReply

Lisa

Hmmm… I’m tempted, although the last thing I need is another sub!
