I received two coupons with this box as well.

The second coupon is for 15% off at Ella Santosa. Ella Santosa makes crystal necklaces from bullets. They are very pretty!
DIY Nail Polish Coffee Mug Kit
This came with a plain white coffee cup, a toothpick, and a bottle of nail polish. The instructions were to fill a plastic container with warm water, put in a few drops of nail polish, and dip the bottom of the cup. Then let it dry upside down.
Here’s a picture of my finished mug. I kind of wish I dipped it in further, so the design went further up. Since it is not dishwasher safe and I’m a little iffy about drinking out of something with nail polish on it, I’m going to use it as a pencil cup on my desk!
Z’s Bees Raw Honey – $2.75
I really enjoyed this honey. It is a teeny tiny little bear filled with Raw Wildflower honey. I drizzled this on top of my berries and almond milk and it added just the right amount of sweetness.
I’ve received this jam in the past and I really like it! I can’t find it on The Jam Stand’s site right now, but it is delicious. It is a mix of banana, lime, and rum. It sounds really weird but it is delicious!
I tried this jam on a biscuit and I enjoyed it. It has a bit of a kick to it, but I honestly didn’t taste much other than a bit of sweet and a bit of heat. I probably wouldn’t buy this, but I can see how it would be great for making peach chicken or something.
This company was on Shark Tank for their reusable paper towels. I received one bamboo paper towel. For every roll they sell, they plant a tree, which is a cool concept. I used it, and washed it and I like them. I would definitely buy them if I find them in store – I like the idea of a paper towel that I can use and then toss after it gets nasty. This is supposed to be able to be used 100 times, which would be perfect for wiping down surfaces in the bathroom, etc.
Kuhdoo’s Honey Oatmeal Soap Bar – $6.00
This soap smells so good! I appreciate that Bakery 16 shipped it in a plastic bag to avoid making the entire box smell like soap and to avoid damage. I really liked the last soap I received from Kuhdoo, and definitely can’t wait to swap this one into rotation.
Verdict: I enjoyed my first shipment from Bakery 16. I wasn’t entirely sure what to expect when I got my box, but it seems like a nice assortment of high quality items. Without the value of the DIY Mug, I received about $16.00 worth of items, plus the two coupons. I would say that this box probably has a value of about $20.00 with the DIY cup. I wouldn’t count the coupons toward the value since you have to spend additional money to use them. Overall, I think this is a good first box from Bakery 16, even if it is on the low side.
