The Oxford Trunk is an online boutique that sells very funky ladies' clothing and accessories. I love their style! Their monthly mystery box gives you a choice among:

* Boho, preppy, girlie, and classic styles
* Large (3-5 items with a retail value of at least $85) or small (1-2 items with a retail value of at least $30, no clothing)
* Pierced ears or non-pierced

This review is of the small boho box for pierced ears.

My Subscription Addiction pays for this subscription. (Check out the review process post to learn more about how we review boxes).

Just as a note, these are items  that The Oxford Trunk does not carry on its website usually, so I don't have any basis for providing links or retail values usually. I have heard that they send a lot of their sample items, which would make sense, but I have no way of knowing if that's true or not.

This is a cute necklace. It's a little dainty for my tastes, but I still like it.

This ring is so tiny I wasn't 100% sure it was a ring when I opened it! I'm still not, actually. That's my pinkie in the picture, and as you can see it doesn't even go down to the base of my pinkie, it's so small. You can also see that wearing it like this would mean no joint mobility for my pinkie. Should I run a chain through this and wear it as a pendant? Or just give it to my niece?

Verdict: I love The Ox Box! But this was not my favorite month. As with almost all subscription boxes, that's going to happen from time to time! I still got two cute pieces that I can make use of.

What did you get from The Ox Box this month?

That looks like it’s supposed to be a midi ring, meant to sit between the first two knuckles.

Is it an ear cuff?

About the ring, would it stay in place if you moved it up a bit and wore it as a midi pinkie ring or would it fall off?

I also love your manicure. 😀

My 9 yr old would have loved this box, lol. I wish a company would provide a “jewelry only” sub box for young girls.
