SQUARE HEARTS APRIL 2016 - items 1

Santee Nail Lacquer - .5 fl oz, value: $1.06

I think this polish will get swapped… I’ve never heard of this brand of polish, and this shade isn’t one I’ll wear.

Ashley Collection Bangles – value: $18?

I can’t find these online, but they’re really pretty. They did a good job matching the polish exactly. These bangles have a couple gems bangles, and a mix of gold and blue bangles. It’s a pretty combo – I’d love them more if they were silver!

Hello Legs – 3 oz, value: $20?

The HelloLegs website hasn’t launched yet, but this item was also in the Spring FabFitFun box, so I’m using the pricing info from that. This lotion is actually a combo of lotion, shaving cream and “blade butter” designed to make your legs feel shiny, smooth and soft after shaving. I haven’t tried this yet, but it’ll be nice to try for summer.

Black Mini Wallet – value: $12?

This is a small wallet, and the one I currently use is bigger and the size I like. However, I think this would be handy to toss in a clutch or something!

Here’s a look at the inside of the wallet.

Look Scarf – value: $30?

This scarf is really soft and the color is gorgeous (and it matches the bracelets and nail polish! I love the color for spring/summer, but I just don’t wear scarves year-round (unless it’s a particularly chilly day). Besides, this material feels a little warmer than what you’d want to wear for this season anyway.

Love Chesley White Jumpsuit – value: $30?

I can’t find this jumpsuit online, either. I’m sorry not to be showing this to you on my body, but there is no way I can fit into this. Even if my hips did fit into this, my chest sure wouldn’t. It’s an interesting style, but it’s not something I’d ever wear.

Here’s a better look at the top of the jumpsuit.

Verdict: Square Hearts is interesting but I’m not sure it’s for me, if I’m being honest. I feel like it could be quite an interesting box if the clothing/accessories aligned with my taste. However I just think that this box is, overall, a miss for me. Even though I can’t quite do an exact value on this box, my estimates have it at about $110… I don’t think I personally find it to be worth that much to me, it’s still definitely worth more than the $50 cost to me.

I also want to mention I was charged one month and didn’t receive a box, and when I emailed CS about it, they charged me again and sent a new box. It was a little complicated and confusing – I did get my money back and the issue corrected but it just wasn’t taken care of smoothly. Just a heads up – I wanted to fill you in on my experience with their customer service.

Haley, will you be interesting in selling the jumpsuit? Depending on the size I’d love to buy it from you!

WOW! I’ve been up all night studying and apparently I don’t know how to spell or put sentences together. I think my meaning is still understood: what size is the white jumpsuit and would you sell/swap it?

I have the same ?? The website has a different box. I am tempted but they have a limited social media presence. There are no visitor posts on their Facebook. Barley any likes in their posts. And I can only find old unboxing videos.

Meh…I signed up…getting tired of beauty box blunders…allure debacle, I’m willing to try this and also ouiplease. Scarf is beautiful!

LOL, what a huge difference in your unboxing compared to the unboxing video on their site. Easy pass for a change.

It looks interesting to me, and I just signed up to try the box for myself. I agree that the jumpsuit is a weird outfit, though. I like the one listed on their website more – it’s also listed as being for April. Do they give different outfits to different people? Or perhaps you got a May box early? Either way, or they listed it wrong on the website. There, they say that the April outfit includes leggings, a cardigan, and a shirt – seems like a better deal because it offers more versatility.

Why would you include an item like a white jumpsuit that literally only like 5% of the population could wear? Seems strange for a subscription box trying to appeal to a presumably wider audience.

Honestly, this looks like a bunch of stuff I’d find at a yard sale. It looks nowhere near the $200 value promised. Very easy pass.

I totally agree, I hate to say it but the items look cheap not worth paying $49.99….
