This month we got a note introducing us to a new Panda Pal, Little Peep!
This is the activity sheet that was included. The reverse usually has a big drawing space, but this month it has more activities for younger kids on the back. It kind of reminds me of the activity placemats they give kids in restaurants. They included crayons this month!
Panda Pals sends a sticker sheet every month, and my eight-year-old is still young enough to enjoy them. Fun!
Now on to the main event: the socks! This is the first pair that were included, depicting Little Peep. They are super cute, but Little Peep doesn't have any ears or other body parts sticking out like the other Panda Pals.
This is the second pair of socks we got this month. I think they're cute, especially the part that sticks up out of the shoes, but I don't really get the collection of items printed on them! What do these things have in common? Anyway, I photographed them this way to remind you of one of my new favorite things in the world: THE SNAP. Look at the top of the socks and you'll see that they can snap together. This could seriously revolutionize family sock herding forever.
Verdict: I think Panda Pals is adorable and would make an especially good present for a child you care about. The socks are really soft and hey, they snap together! $15 is a lot for two pairs of socks, but I think the included activities and the specialness of the whole package make it worth it. It really turns a kind of boring present, or the act of buying something boring, into something awesome for kids.
Have you tried Panda Pals yet? Isn't the snap the best?
