These two notes were included in my package. This month I decided to take advantage of the personalization feature so we can send this along with some goodies to my husband’s mother for Mothers’ Day! The top note is our note to Grandma from the boys, complete with pictures of them at gymnastics. I love it! I think she will, too. The bottom note has information about this month’s package contents.

Garden in a Bag “With Love” from Potting Shed Creations – Value $10

This is so neat! It’s a bag with everything you need to grow pretty red cosmos flowers right in the bag. I think Grandma is going to love this! She used to garden a lot before they moved to the retirement castle. This is so perfect for her!

Hummingbird Bee Bar from Honey House Naturals – Value $13

I didn’t even open this tin, but now I wish I would have because:

Isn’t that just gorgeous? What an exquisite little tin of solid lotion! I already thought it was a great gift for Grandma because it would help a lot with dry skin, but now I’m not sure she will be able to bring herself to use it and mess up that amazing craftsmanship!

Pod and Vine by Gearharts Fine Chocolates – Value $10

Grandma is super lucky that I gave up sugar recently. Virginia wine chocolates? They look, sound, and smell incredible!

Blessed a Book of Gratitude by Amylee Weeks – Value $9.95

This is such a sweet, special book. I am a big believer in practicing gratitude. I know Grandma will like it. From Amazon:

As Amylee Weeks writes in her Introduction, You can chase a butterfly all over the field and never catch it. But if you sit quietly in the grass it will come and sit on your shoulder. Blessed, A Book of Gratitude is an inspirational guide about connecting with the abundance that’s within each person and giving thanks to all that one has. Be still. Take time to breathe. And remember. Remember your blessings and your struggles, lessons learned through life, and where each lesson has taken you. And be grateful.

Verdict: This month’s gift box from Lemon Drop Gifts will make an awesome Mothers’ Day Gift for my mother-in-law! These are all sweet gifts she will appreciate, and I know she will love the picture of the boys, too. This month’s value comes to about $43 total. The cost of the box was $40, so I’m happy, but I still think that this is an area in which Lemon Drop Gifts could improve a bit. Otherwise, I think this box would make a wonderful Mothers’ Day Gift for a lot of different moms out there!

What do you think of the Lemon Drop Box? Is this something you would send to a loved one?

  1. was there supposed to be a coupon for this sub?

  2. I wouldn’t be able to use the Bee Bar Lotion with that beautiful scene on it.

  3. This was better than their last box but still just meh.

  4. It seems like this would have been better items for the 45+ group than that boomerluxe box.

  5. I would never be able to use what’s in the tin. lol It’s a work of art!

  6. I’ve loved honey house naturals for years and wondered why they never show up in subscription boxes… So glad to see them included (and I use that lotion bar daily in the winter…. A bit sticky for summer, although it will eventually sink in)!
