Gina Louise is an emerging boho fashion and accessory brand that recently began offering a monthly subscription styling service called the "Bling Box." I love all things boho, so I was excited to have the opportunity to try them out!

Gina Louise kindly sent us this box to review. (Check out our review process post to learn more about how we review boxes.)

gina-louise-may-letter

This letter was included in my package with important reminders of how this service works. Basically, you pay your styling fee and receive your box full of clothes and accessories. You have three days to decide what you would like to keep and what you want to return. They send a return envelope so you can send back anything you don't want to keep, and the postage is pre-paid so you don't have to pay to return things. You're charged for what you do keep. It's that simple! She was also kind enough to wish me a Happy Mothers' Day!

gina-louise-may-invoice

This is my invoice for the package. The retail prices are listed, but as a Bling Box member, I get a special VIP discounted price on the items sent. If I choose to keep everything in the box, I get a 20% discount on the whole thing. And of course, my styling fee is deducted from whatever I decide to keep. In this case, the original retail price for all the items was $488. If I keep everything in the box, my outstanding cost (after the styling fee) is only $245.60! That's a really deep discount!

Patchwork Lace Sleeve Denim Jacket - Price to keep $125

Have you ever seen such a unique denim jacket? Gina Louise spoke of this in her letter (above) - this is one of her unique designs! It's one-of-a-kind! I love it! I can't imagine any other circumstances under which I would buy a jacket in May, but I am definitely keeping this jacket!

gina-louise-may-pants

Style & Co. Linen Pants - Price to keep $52

I'm kind of on the fence about these pants. I don't usually wear light colored pants because I have messy children and pets. These are really nice and lightweight, though, with a good flow, and they are actually kind of flattering for light colored pants. They're also petite length, so they are a good length for summer (I typically fall in between petite and regular). I can't decide!

gina-louise-may-top

NY Collection Sparkle Top - Price to keep $45

Another conundrum! I don't usually wear beaded tops because I feel like they belong to a more mature generation. But, this top is really flattering, and the stones actually look kind of cool.

gina-louise-may-blouse

Woven Kimono - Price to keep $54

I'm not sure why this is listed as a kimono, it's a blouse, but it doesn't matter. I love it! This is a keeper for sure!

gina-louise-may-earrings

Handmade Guitar Pic / Peace Earrings - Price to keep $18

Oh my gosh I love these earrings! These are totally my style, and I can't believe they are handmade! I am keeping these, too!

gina-louise-may-necklace

gina-louise-may-necklace-2

Gunmtal / Gold Austrian Crystal encrusted Necklace - Price to keep $37.50

Wow, this necklace is beautiful, and it's got a good weight to it. It's also totally my style. Another keeper!

Verdict: I am totally loving my subscription to Gina Louise Bling Box! I can't believe how quickly my stylist grasped my style and embraced it completely. I absolutely love four of the six items she sent this month, and the other two I like but don't know if I can commit. That's a fantastic win rate on a styling box, in my opinion!

It looks like with the 20% off it would only cost you an additional $11 to keep both the pants and the beaded top…

Very cute selections. I’ll bite for 3 months. But, after I sign up and pay via Cratejoy, how do I fill out my style profile?

Carrie

Easier than I thought. Gina sent me a link to the style profile. Now I await my Bling Box and can’t wait to see what she has chosen for me. I’m not very boho, more boring prep, so this is going to be interesting to say the least. Thus far, I am impressed with Gina’s customer service as she got in touch with me ASAP about my confusion over the style profile.

Linen pants like that are a wardrobe staple for me – good for occasions where you need to dress up a bit – you can dress them up or down easily. If you keep the pants then it’s cheaper to just keep all the items…

I love that jacket! Those earrings are great, too. This is one clothing subscription that warrants a serious look.

First, I thought this box was from Tina Louise of Gilligan’s Island. Since it is not, I’ll pass.

Cute box. You should DEFINITELY keep the pants – they look super comfy!

This looks like a really nice option! I’m a little bit confused on the pricing though. Your post says that the styling fee is $49 and credited back to anything you purchase, but the invoice sheet only shows $24.50 credited.

Sarah

I thought the same thing with the 50% off, but the post says that they sent this free for review purposes…

The prices on that invoice were to show Anna the discounts, and how the styling fee is deducted from the invoice. 🙂

GLO

She used the 50% off coupon. So her styling fee for the month was ONLY 24.50 🙂

So basically the 50% off is kinda meaningless.

This stuff is not my style at all but I am happy for Anna!!!!

_uff_da

I think she used the 50% promo code that is listed in the post.

GLO

Yes, she did! 🙂 She used the 50% off coupon

EC

I’m confused as well. That’s only half of the styling fee being applied. What happens to the other $24.50? There’s no way I’d pay an extra $25 on top of the price per item.
