Question for elf subscribers, please.

1. Does anyone know what is in the June box, like if it’s the same as those who got theirs in May or is June/july the same
Part 2 of this question is …how does that work. Is it the same for
Dec/jan
Feb/march
Etc etc
Or
Jan/feb
March/april
Etc etc

Sorry ahead of time

I’m a first-time e.l.f. subscriber, and today I received my 1st box, but it only had five items in it valued at only $17 (per e.l.f.’s website). My box came unsecured (i.e absolutely no sign of packing tape being used), and I was wondering if this is how they typically ship their boxes.
Even though the packaging looked fine upon opening, and the products that I did receive were tightly secured in the bag within the box, I have the feeling that either 1) someone decided to have an early Christmas with *my* Christmas box (what I call my sub boxes 🙂 ) while it was being shipped to me, or 2) e.l.f. prematurely shipped my box before they finished assembling it (it was shipped the same day I ordered it).
Anyway, I’m sure it’s a long shot to hear any responses from MSA readers, since it feels like I’m the only one who succumbed to trying this, but I thought I’d see if anybody else experienced this, and/or if they ever had to contact e.l.f.’s CS. Do they have good or bad CS?
I sent an email to e.l.f. today too, so I’m hoping they do something to make the situation whole. I really hope so, because I really liked all of the products that I did receive, and I would like to be able to look forward to July’s box.

I’ve never had that happen but I’ve only got one box so far. My 2nd one is this month. I can say their CS is great though. From my first box the mineral mascara doubt have the spoolie part on the end of it…must have broke inside. They sent a new one immediately with tracking…like an order.
I contacted them again this month just to ask when they’ll bill/ship my June box and they answered fast

Haha i came on here to ask a question too. I always check to see all the upcoming spoilers and was hoping to find out what is coming in the June elf box n found nothing so was going to ask if anyone knows and how exactly it works with everyones every 2 months as different, if there’s a set every 2 month box and what month it starts like dec-han the same or jan-feb the same. I didn’t want to bother them again

Anyway hope my answer helped.

Take a pic n contact them. Can’t hurt

This was actually my first beauty box. I was new to makeup and trying to build up a collection, and this is a great sub for that. Keep in mind that you’ll only get full sized items, and with the sub guaranteeing $40 worth of items that’s A LOT of stuff, considering how inexpensive e.l.f. products are.

Of course, if you’re on product overload like I am, it’s probably one you’d want to skip. But if you’re building a stash, it’s not too shabby.

I was on the wait list for this because it sounded Intresting. I don’t have much elf products and thought I’d give it at least 1 try. I’m excited for it. I like to try different products that I normally wouldn’t buy. And if I don’t like it, I usually ask a friend if they want it. 24$ every 8 weeks isn’t too bad.

Same. I love their stuff, but this isn’t the best deal. Easy skip, thank goodness, I’m on box overload lol

This one is baffling to me. All of their products are inexpensive and easily accessible… Why gamble with random products? ?

I agree. I would rather pick and choose which products I get. Plus they always have sales so I don’t really see it for me.

I used to subscribe to this box, but I cancelled because I already had many of the items I received in the box. I love e.l.f. for the most part, but I didn’t need all the duplicates. And I agree . . . it is pricey!

this seems pricey, their products are pretty inexpensive i thought…

I agree. They are slowly raising their prices but I can’t justify the cost of this sub. Especially since there are a lot more misses than hits with E.L.F. I’ll pass.

And also, they’ve always got some special going on where you can get their stuff with a nice freebie and free shipping etc. I still buy ELF once in a while, but I don’t spend more than I would on a subscription box and I get exactly what it is I want. Works much better that way for me!

Let’s be honest, there are far too many other boxes out there to try and take a gamble on. ELF is a great staple, but I’m poor, and I want access to the good stuff too, and that’s what beauty boxes are to me!

LC

I love elf! But don’t need any more boxes, hmm..
