Have any of you ever tried to cancel BOTM? I have been trying for over a week to no avail. I called towards the end of April and canceled and was told it was canceled and I wouldn’t be charged for the May cycle. Then I got charged on May 1. I called the next day and was assured it was canceled and they removed the charge. Now a few days later i got charged today and it looks like they sent me a book! (Not one I chose even). I will be calling them monday for a THIRD time to try to cancel and not have to pay for this book they shipped today. I loved this sub and was only canceling to cut down on subs right now to pay for some medical bills, and was thinking about re-subbing once I was ready, but this is really making me think twice… Just wondering if anyone has ever had issues with their customer service… Ugh!

It was hard for me to read “What She Knew” as a mom of a young boy even though it was a great book so not sure I can read “I Let You Go”. Probably picking “Eligible” since “Pride and Prejudice is my favorite book of all time 🙂

If you skip a month, can you still buy 2 extra books? Just wondering.

I’ve been wanting to read Eligible since I heard Sittenfeld’s interview about this on NPR a few weeks back! As usual, I don’t think I can stop at just one…

It’s funny; they have a month where I want like two or three of the books and then a month where I’m not into any of it, such as this month. I praise them for introducing the skip option!

I’m the same, last month I wanted and ended up getting 3, but this month none of them appeal to me at all, which is ok since I’m not done with all 3 from last month!

Didn’t know they had a skip function! Think I will skip this month as well. The only thing that appeals to me in the Association of Small Bombs but not enough for me to order.

I’m torn between I Let You Go and Eligible.

Love or Mystery? I was in the same situation! I ended up choosing I let you go.
i wanted something completely different since I’ve read Pride and Prejudice already.

I think in going to go with Heat & Light this month. Might add Eligible too.
I Let You Go sounded good at first bc I love mysteries, but don’t think I would be able to read it since I have a young son.

Hey, Liz. I think the 50% off coupon you mentioned must have just been a typo, as you list a 30% off coupon. ♡
