I like this box except for a couple of things….the small sunscreen is the same as I received in the amazon box. Way too small to be included in this box. AND there was another full size sunscreen. Plus the skin medica, just received a free skin medica kit last month for signing up for Beautyfix. I just don’t want a lot of sunscreen. I do really like all of the other face skin care and overall am happy with the box. Thank goodness summer is rolling around for these face sunscreens. The itty bitty sample sunscreen looks like enough for 1-2 applications too.

This is my second beauty fix box and I am addicted. I am really excited about the sunscreen products. The avene and eye cream are full size – right there $70 value. The tiny sample of sunscreen will go in my purse as sometimes my friends and I eat lunch outside and this way I can protect my face. Beyond excited to try the collagen booster and hyaluronic serum. I start d this sub to try out different brands and this far beyond pleased. Now which products to try first!

I got my box today. Love it! Guys the babor alone is 54ish dollar value. So everything maybe on the smaller side but the value is there!

What an aMAYzing box this month. WOW….definitely a great value. I’m so happy with every product that came and a lot of them are really good sizes. I remember the 1st box i ever got, i ended up cancelling because i was expecting all full size…i was mad but then i realuzed how long the stuff they sent me lasted, using regularly, and just how high end the quality is. I realized that though a lot of stuff are SAMPLES, I’m still using REALLY GOOD stuff until the next batch arrives. And then the stuff that IS full size…or just big enough is something definitely worth the price of this box. I’m in my early 40s and i have plenty of makeup BUT good, high quality hair and skin care it’s something i just cat afford…..yet, with this box I’m taken care of month to month. That said, THIS MONTH’s box us truly amazing. I’m so happy. Like someone above said, even better in person. WOW. Love getting my beautyfix

I’m in my 50’s and am told I look over 10 years younger. I want to keep it that way (I have olive skin) I love skincare. My teenage daughter gets Ipsy, I finally decided to get my own box. Her dad has been paying for hers. I’m just looking at the swap section. I don’t need some of the eyeshadow and may have some of her Ipsy items to swap. I really only want skincare.

I feel the exact same way, I also am in my 40s and could never afford the quality of these products without this sub.. As far as an awesome sub for hair care you should try Shtrands… Absolutely amazing personalization, and salon products for an affordable amount.. I swear by it now.. I save so much money, and my hair has never been so fabulous?

Received this today and like it much better in person. The value is definitely there. Sizes are:

Avene – 1.3 fl oz
Doctor Babor – 0.5oz
Replenix – 0.28 fl oz
Vital Eye Cream – 0.5 fl oz

The others are small, but overall I’m happy!

I really love all of the items! I received mine yesterday, too. I’ll definitely be using everything in the box.

I’m thinking of trying this subscription in the future, but I’m concerned about the comments I’ve seen talking about soon-to-be-expired products. Does that happen often? Thanks for any info!

The Skin Medica bonus package I received last month expires in 5 months. That scared me from continuing this sub.

Kay

Please don’ take my word for it, but it looks like Avene sunscreen is a full size product (only 1.3 oz) when I searched on dermstore webiste. I have used Avene products, thanks to sub boxes, and I really like them so far. It says 91% sold out on their website. I usually order after Liz’s review, but I am wondering if I should wait any longer. Any coupon code available?

Kara

I’m waiting for Liz’s review as well! I love her insights – very helpful!!!

If you prefer paraben-free products – is this box a good fit?

There was a promo for the free travel kit with starting a sub… MSAFIX.. That was on April 21st.. Not sure if it still is going.. I personally love this sub..

Kay

Sade, thank you for the code. It says “invalid code”, so either expired or since I used to get their boxes, they won’t work for returning customers. I am sure some kind of promo will come out if they don’t sell by the end of the month. I also saw $5 off code (which was invalid again) on their facebook page.

pisani416

The Vital eye cream alone is $40 – love this box

I love everything about this box!

Ha5 is expensive. It would have been great to see full sized but I would have been shocked. I get this from my plastic surgeons office whenever I go in. I’ll definitely be trading for this!

This will be my first BeautyFix box, I just hope it’s well worth it!! Is it always skin care products, or is there ever any beauty or perfume products??

I have been getting Beautyfix since May 2015 and the only time we got perfume was in September 2015. We got a sample vial of Summer Rain by Raw Spirit. We get cosmetics in every other box, it’s mostly lipstick/lipbalm and mascara but we received BB cream, blush, brow color, eyeshadow etc too.

Lisa

Thank you for the response!! I was just curious, since I sub to Ipsy, Birchbox, Allure, Glossybox, and Boxycharm, I get plenty of beauty products. (BUT still patiently waiting for the day I get off of Sephora’s wait list haha!) Whatever beauty products I don’t want or need, I pass them on to my teenage daughter. So it’s nice to have a box that’s more focused on skin care, aging, hair, etc.

It is mostly skincare, with a bit of beauty and then some haircare. I don’t recall ever getting perfume.

Thanks for the heads up!!

This looks like a nice box. I’m tempted to try a beautyblender Micro.

If this spoiler came out yesterday i would have finally cancelled this sub. 🙁 As it stands, I was charged TODAY for the box. Whats sad is I recommended this sub box to my mother so much that she just signed up. I know she will be disappointed just like I am. Whats with all the samples? Usually you get a couple full size items from here but it looks like they are all small sizes this month. Boooooo…….

I just cancelled my boxycharm and was hoping for a home run with this box to bring up my spirits. lol

Maribel:)

Beauty Fix is skincare Wonderland to me 🙂 I don’t get excited about sunscreen unless it is Avene and Anthelios (they actually feel good on my skin), plus the serum and creams make it a fun box for me?

Wincha

good to know these sunscreen brands are good

Depends on the sizes of things, if they are mini then it will be horrid. I am never happy about sunscreen, but we will see.

I looked these products up on Dermstore and some are pretty high priced for the full size. I can’t increase the size of the picture to read the size amounts though to get a better sense of prices.

Kara

I tried Beauty Fix but was so disappointed by the sizes of some of the items. Super tiny!

Reply ButtonReply

nana

`Yikes, those samples are tiny! I got the Anthelios before, it’s all of 3 ml and it actually came with a warning that it was not enough product to provide sun protection.

I miss the days when you got 9-10 products and at least 2 of them were full sized. There are all micro-samples!

This is my favorite box!
Always consistently good, great customer service too!

Karen

This looks like a really good box. I can use every single item and hopefully, the size is pretty good. Beautyfix is always worth the money, even on the “bad” months. 🙂

Yayy! This makes me really happy that I subbed to this box. I think they’re fabulous, at least thus far. I never would’ve taken the plunge if you didn’t have the offer listed here for the free skin care kit (Skin Medica?). They shipped promptly, and so far, I adore Beautyfix!

I blame YOU and this site on enabling and encouraging me in my little habit! It could be worse though! Though IDK…since frequenting this site, I’ve gone from having one subscription (for ipsy) to the following:
Ipsy
Birchbox (coupon code through here)
Allure (coupon code through here)

Walmart (learned about it here)

Target (okay, not a subscription, but still heard about it here first, and have gotten it twice – I was up until after 3 am knowing it was about to be offered the other day – I missed out last month and didn’t want to do the same this month).

Glossybox (considering dropping it, but, ughh, they’re great most of the time)

Sephora Play (OMG, I got in!)

Also did a trial of Lip Monthly, cancelled it though! And I’m always waiting for good deals/coupon codes to come up elsewhere. I think that’s my entire list thus far! HAHAHA! Thanks Liz, for your amazing site! So glad for the community you’ve got here too…makes me feel like I’m not alone (maybe we need to start an anonymous group for those of us who feel our addiction is getting out of hand hahaaa).

Sending you gratitude!

How long did it take u to get into Sephora. Did u wait or try multiple times?

I started the beauty fix box late April and received that box quickly. A week later I received 2 emails about the May box. Hope I’m only being charged for one. I bought the Amazon box with the code and an Amazon discount. Looking is like the very small sunscreen sample for this Mays BFix is the same as I received in the Amazon box. My 19 yr old daughter gets Ipsy. I think it’s geared toward the younger woman. I’m late 50’s look early 40’s so any good skincare product is what I want. Looks like this box is all skincare. Glad I found out about the expiration dates so I use the products now. Just got added to swaps hope to get more skincare for makeup products.
