not everyone has been with popsugar forever nor are subscribed to 5 other boxes, I’m sure newer subscribers will be happy with a water bottle and other things that people mention are repeats. As for me, I’m excited about this theme, I can always use more fitness stuff becuase I workout every day! hip hip hooray

Exactly! I ONLY subscribe to PopSugar and have done for over two years now. The only box I have been disappointed with was the December 2015 box and I was really sad about that one– I re-gifted every single thing in that box. Which I guess was good, as a low cost way to give presents to people… But generally, I’m always pleased. To be fair to PS, they are a business that is trying to put together a box that is cohesive and lovely for a certain price point and it’s weird to expect them to know what other boxes you subscribe to. That’s why I only subscribe to one box!

No water bottle, PLEASE! This is everybody’s freebie these days! I must have a dozen!! Anything else I can take, but a water bottle, no! This will be enough for me to cancel, due to lack of originality, sorry.

Overall, the theme hints remind me of the PSMH/Target collaboration. So I’m hoping it’s not too similar a box as I don’t need another plastic water bottle, mat, jump rope, etc. I have a s’well but I would not be heartbroken to see another one, they are pretty awesome. And pricey for a water bottle. This sounds like kind of a “healthy lifestyle” box. Sometimes those work for me, sometimes they don’t!

April’s spoiler was Floral, Natural, Fresh, Renewal and we got hand cream, a tea towel, cook book and eye cream among other things.
These May spoilers look very Januaryish, but who knows with inscrutable Popsugar.
Who, by the way, are overdue doing another deal. I know I’m not the only one who’s December 6-month gig is almost up.

I am also a person whose 6-month deal is up with May’s box. I couldn’t care less if the boxes aren’t perfect when I break down the cost for a 6-month deal. But I won’t be continuing month-to-month unless there is another deal. There have been too many things I don’t have a use for. I also haven’t had a successful swap in a while. It’s easier to give things away as gifts (like that tassel necklace from last month that’s going to my daughter’s teacher for Teacher Appreciation).

i am PRAYING for a S’well. I’ve wanted to get one so bad lately, but can’t quite justify the cost (however, that’s never stopped me from purchasing anything in the past…) – fingers crossed!!!

Am I the only one who is looking forward to this box!? I love Popular MH! I think its a great middle of the line price for neat products! Its not $10 because they aren’t giving you the same samples every other box gives you and I think the quality of the products are right in line to $50 or more boxes but not cringing on $40 a month. Win, win, and win for me!

For the most part, I am very happy with PopSugar. You can never expect to make everyone happy all of the time. I’m planning on giving gift subscriptions to my daughters in laws on their burthdays, just because it’s so much fun!

Can’t wait either! Not sure why there is so much negativity. People sure were singing a different tune in Feb. To me the spirit of sub. boxes was to try new things and be surprised every month not receive a box custom tailored to my expectations. While PS does have CS issues, value has never been a problem unless those expectations are a bit inflated. I’m starting to find I enjoy my subscriptions so much more now when I don’t read the comments and spoilers.

You’re not alone!! I LOVE the Popsugar boxes, in fact, they’re the only boxes I subscribe to (besides Birchbox). I even subscribe to MINI too and I’m obsessed! I’m an avid POPSUGAR reader, so I trust their editor picks. They’re always current and fun! Not sure why they get so much hate… like you had mentioned it’s not $10, or even $20 for a reason – and you get a BUNCH of great quality, trendy items!

I’m ready for a real spoiler! This is my last box on my six month prepaid deal, and I’m trying to decide if I want to continue my subscription or not.
I’m also curious to see what’s in the Mini this month. Last month wasn’t good for me, but I’m going to give it one more month to see.

I’m looking at it as more of an overall “wellness” theme, in which both fitness and relaxation play a role. It’s so interesting how we all interpret just a few words and assign so much meaning to them.

Seeing the spoilers, it’s a tempting box. Knowing what I read about PS (never having been a subscriber) I would say that the items in this box would include:
A candle
A water bottle
A jump rope (or tension band, something similar)
Some kind of “healthy” sugar laden snack

I was thinking jump rope too, since it has to be a small item. I’m imagining they found one that has a MSRP of like $30… Hopefully it’s a workout DVD instead, maybe yoga to tie in fitness and relaxation.

ya, tell me about it. still waiting for my April box here too… supposed to be delivered next Monday, MAY 2nd!
I’m seriously a fairly patient person, but they sent out an email saying all boxes would ship by the 20th of the month, and mine didn’t ship until the 22nd. its just really disappointing – I understand things come up, but this is a rather large company/box and I hold them to a slightly higher standard than some of the other smaller boxes when it comes to shipping things on time.

I cancelled. They need to release a good spoiler to get me back on board. Even if they did I’d still be a little iffy on resubscribing. For me each month it comes to $43 even- and that’s pushing it! Especially with their *great* customer service 🙂

Agree, I’m not resubbing. It’s great for $20ish a month, $40 no way. May will be my last box and I really, really didn’t like April’s box at all. Seeing the theme spoiler, I’m sure I won’t like May’s either.
