Brick Loot is a box from a new but growing trend of LEGO subscription services! My kids are HUGE LEGO fanatics, so I was really interested in trying this out with them!

My Subscription Addiction pays for this subscription. (Check out the review process post to learn more about how we review boxes).

brick-loot-apr-info

This month's Brick Loot is themed "Race at the Brickyard!" Awesome! The information card that comes with this subscription is pretty large and details all the included products. It also lists the websites where similar items can be purchased.

Note: Pretty much everything that comes in Brick Loot is an exclusive build or custom item made just for Brick Loot, which is awesome! It also means that I don't have a retail value for most of them, so all the values listed below are based on similar items except where noted.

Also included this month is a theme sticker and a coupon for 20% off Versa Bricks.

Stud Cruiser - Value $10?

The cruiser is a 100% LEGO exclusive custom kit by AFOL MAN. This is pretty boxy for a cruiser, isn't it? In any case, I'm sure the boys are going to love it! They love LEGO vehicles.

Racing XL - Value $5 each?

These are our three race cars for the grand championship, currently brewing in our living room. My money is on the blue one, it looks really speedy!

brick-loot-apr-versa

Versa Bricks Sample Pack - Value $5

Whoa! Versa Bricks are pieces that connect LEGO bricks to Hot Wheels tracks and to K'NEX. How innovative! I see an order from Versa Bricks in our near future!

brick-loot-apr-minifigure

Street Light Kit - Value $3?

The kids love all the light-up components that Brick Loot sends. This kit is also 100% LEGO. This will be awesome for their race track!

Mach Racer Minifigure - Value $10?

This is a 100% LEGO Custom Minifigure made by United Bricks. The boys' minifigure collection is getting really huge!

Lego Brick Keychain - Value $1?

This is cute! The boys love hanging things like this off their backpacks.

Verdict: My kids love Brick Loot, and this month's theme is wonderful for them. What little boy doesn't love race cars? I have come to expect a good value on Brick Loot Packages, and this month is right on par with that expectation. The value is about $44 if my guesses are near accurate, which is great for a $33 box. Plus so many of these items are exclusives! That always makes them extra special!

Hi! Have you have tested the “lego compatibility” of the pieces? and what you have noticed? I fell for some cheaper “compatible ones” at a big box store that turned out to be not compatible at all.

Thanks!
