This is a review of the Style Teaser box. When I signed up, I had to fill out the most extensive style and preferences quiz I have ever filled out for a subscription box. Your contents may (and should!) vary.

bow-arrow-apr-note

This little note came in this month's package.

On the reverse is instructions on how to get an extra piece in next month's box! I am totally doing this!

bow-arrow-apr-bodysuit

I seriously don't think I've owned a bodysuit since college. I think at some point I just assumed I was too curvy for them, but you know what? Bodysuits have come a long way! I think because it's matte black and the correct size, it's actually really flattering! I'm so glad Bow and Arrow gave me another chance to give bodysuits a try!

This is only my second package from Bow and Arrow, but I am impressed with how well they have nailed my style already! I love this skirt! It's the right length and it's really pretty on! It looks great with the bodysuit, too.

Bow and Arrow also sent me this bonus piece this month - a 90's style choker! It goes great with the outfit, but I learned in the 90's that chokers don't look good on me. I'm kind of sad they're coming back in vogue these days. This will be a good piece to swap or give to my niece (who has a tiny little neck).

Verdict: It's month #2 and I'm still loving my packages from Bow and Arrow! These items are not listed in their online shop, so I'm not sure about the value, but I'm happy with what I received for the cost. Of course my favorite piece is the skirt, but the bodysuit was a pleasant surprise! I really feel like they pay attention to my style, and I appreciate that so much. I can't wait to see what I get next month!

Is this box gone already? I’ve tried to check out your links but they keep bringing me to a site saying the page doesn’t exist 🙁

Yes, unfortunately this box has shut down. Sorry!

I read an article about bodysuits in the Wall Street Journal, it said that they don’t actually go out of style because you can’t tell if someone is wearing one.

Hi Anna, where did you find your dress form?

Anna

Hi Kelly. Amazon! 🙂

Is there any way we can see the style quiz before signing up? Since style is such a varied thing and different people place importance on different variables (if that makes sense…), I think seeing the survey beforehand might get me more excited about this. My style is likely polar opposite of yours, so on subscriptions like this (as well as Golden Tote, BeautyDNA, and Wantable) I’ve realized it’s actually seeing the questions alongside the results that helps a lot more.

Hi Ally,

You can see our style quiz by visiting this link
http://bowandarrowboutiques.com/pages/subscribe
Select one of the subscription types (selecting the subscription will not make you a subscriber or charge you) and the quiz will drop down so that you can view the questions that we ask. If you have any other questions please email us at [email protected]

Very nineties. I was out today in the sunshine and it’s surprising to see all of the nineties fashion. The flowered short A line dresses with a lined waist, boots & chokers. Tons of younger girls wearing that look.

Elisabeth,

Yes the 90’s are making a comeback! However, we offer many different styles for our subscribers to choose from and each month our subscribers are able to choose a new style or stick with the previous month’s style. Some of our styles include polished, relaxed, edgy, and date night/night out.

I’m really glad you’re doing reviews for this box Anna! Don’t get me wrong, your style is not my style, but the fact that Savannah has been extremely consistent with your two so far makes me really excited to get this box. But a girl has to be wary in this market, so I need another review before I hand over all my moolalala.

Thanks Rian! 🙂

Hi Rian,

We completely understand wanting to wait to be sure this subscription is something you want to invest in. We hope to see you as a subscriber after Anna’s next review!

Nicole

That’s a cute outfit, but it seems this box is grossly overpriced based on the last couple of reviews.

Savannah

Thank you again Anna for the honest review! We LOVE that you are loving your boxes and thanks for showing the love on Instagram. You’ll be getting an extra surprise in your next box!

Sara

All I can say is wow, it’s very 90s with the bodysuit and the plastic choker. I haven’t worn one of those since I was 12. The bodysuit does look good with the skirt though.

Anna

Agreed, Sara. Very fun, though! Did I mention I love this skirt? LOL
