Received my box today. NO Oil, it spilled all over the box. The entire box is ruined and has a terrible perfume smell. Also a broken eye pencil. Worthless $64 spent.

Oh no! Sorry to hear it. Make sure to let Birchbox customer care know – they are usually awesome about making it right.

I got my box today with No Hair Oil in the Box!! Oil & 1 huge mess all over the place! I don’t know why they don’t seal that stuff nothing was useable!! I told them to send me return labels & they are plus they just sent me another box!! I hope they pack it safe this time!!

Me too! I was so excited when I got home to find my box here already but when I opened it the smell was overpowering. I poked at the contents but everything was covered in oil. I had to just close it up. Since I was exhausted I waited until this morning to deal with the mess. All but a few drops of the oil had spilled. Within a couple of hours I had a reply and a confirmation for a new box with sample pack shipping. This is the first time I’ve had a damaged order and it’s so wonderful to get such a quick resolution.

I meant I did recieve my hair oil but nothing in the container! It spilled everywhere!! Anyone else have that??

Reply ButtonReply

Ragan

I have to hand it to Birchbox CS, they are pretty great.

My LE box came today and the Davines had dumped half its contents all over the box. I sent them a photo at 2:47 PM and by 2:50 PM they had already taken care of it (they are sending a replacement box).

Got my box today too! I just went through it real quick and am really happy with it. I think the oil must have leaked bc the bottle is barely half full

Reply ButtonReply

Kristin

I’m excited!! I got mine for 54.00 after my 10.00 off with my Birthday code & free shipping since I’m an ACE. I’m excited for everything in this one!!

Reply ButtonReply

Hollie

I’m an ACE and my birthday is Sunday. When and how do I receive a code?

Reply ButtonReply

Kristin

You should automatically get an email. Did you check Spam & All? My Code was BIRTHDAY2016 if that helps sweetie. You can give it a try. Otherwise email them & they will send you one. Good luck Hun! Don’t forget to add your free sample pack! Let me know if it works. Good Luck Hollie & Happy Birthday! xo??

Randi

Me too! Ace and bday on Sunday… I didn’t get anything either

Crystal

I just bought this one, I had 609 points saved up and some are expiring soon. So I was able to buy the box and Dr. Jart mask plus the mystery samples for a grand total of $2.21 out the door with tax and ACE shipping.

Reply ButtonReply

Kristin

Great Score!! ?

Reply ButtonReply

abbynholsinge

Wow! I didn’t realize the points could expire! How long are they good for??

Reply ButtonReply

Flubs

They expire a year after you get them.

mycatbutters

Wow, bought this earlier and already received a shipping notification.

Reply ButtonReply

Kristin

Me too!! I got my Shipping notification 2 hours after I bought it lol.

Reply ButtonReply

Sara

I bought something on Friday and it arrived yesterday (it shipped from the SE to the NW, and I’m not even an ACE on that account). I didn’t even get a shipping notice, it just arrived like magic.

Reply ButtonReply

Kristin

Sara don’t you just love it when you get a box before the tracking lol?! ?

Andrea

I have been coveting that tray for so long!! Almost made me buy it, but after reading everyone’s comments, I didn’t. I don’t need all the other stuff (or the tray for that matter BUT I love it soooooo). Probably will just buy the tray by itself with my (hopefully coming soon?) April birthday code & points.

Reply ButtonReply

Flubs

Yeah, I was thinking about that too since it’s only $15 on the site (http://www.umbra.com/usd/prisma-jewelry-t). Plus they have a lot of other cute organizer stuff so it actually works out in my favor.

This seems like a very uninteresting box to me…if the price point was more like $45 that would be better…seems like $64 is just too high. Too many sample sized products and a VOTIVE candle? Come on…

LillyZ

Not excited for this at all! These items are a bit of a snooze and repetitive (another mascara, face oil, blush from this month’s box, and the incredibly repetitive perfume-no thanks). With inflated values, overpriced items on their site, and samples that are less than half-full, I have grown weary on subscription boxes recently. I think they jumped the shark a few months back. I have gone from 4 boxes per month to 2 for these reasons. Don’t get me wrong, I do look forward to their monthly boxes because I get to try things I normally would not, but this box is a definite pass for me. Bring back a box like the summer box last year, that was great!

Ashley Odabashian

i agree, it should be around $45 for all those sample/travel sized products…

Reply ButtonReply

Angie

I agree with you! (Subie)

I got and liked the last LE box,(why stay in….) I do like the tray but I’ll pass, you all enjoy!?

Reply ButtonReply

Krista

This is a nice box! I feel like I should just buy the tray if I really want it that much because I sure as heck don’t need any of the “stuff” – but I still WANT it! 🙂

Reply ButtonReply

Biki

Lol! I was thinking the same thing!

Reply ButtonReply

Krista

I caved yesterday 🙂 After this month’s reviews of my normal box, I had 20 in points and a code for 10 off so I got it for 34 and a mystery sample pack.

For 34 I’m happy with the tray, the full sized blush, the full sized gloss, the full sized shadow liner (all of which I will use) and the rest of the goodies 🙂

Hopefully they have sorted out the issues with the hair oil spilling.

Miccarty

This box looks fantastic and I’ve tried several of these products before and like them. However I don’t need anything included. Hmm.

I am going to try to hold out. I will probably cave when the review is posted 😉

Reply ButtonReply

Marissa

This is a gorgeous gorgeous box but I’m going to have to pass. I only like the tray and the candle and those just arnt worth it…for now…I’m sure I will cave when the review is up lol.

Jennifer

I kept saving my points, had a feeling there would be another Mother’s Day/Spring box available. Purchased LE box, plus got sample pack and free gift of lip trio, free aces shipping, only $4.00 for everything!! So excited. Still had points left over, saving those for the Summer LE box (hopefully!)!!!

Reply ButtonReply

Annie

How do you keep them from using all your points? Whenever I try to buy something worth less than my points I can’t figure out how not to apply them all and lose money. (example – I have 200 points, the item I’m buying costs $14, Birchbox applies all 200 points, making my purchase free BUT I just lost $6 worth of points. I would rather apply 100 points and pay the $4)

Reply ButtonReply

Rena

You don’t get the option of choosing smaller point values, but you can just select to pay the full amount via credit card.

Nyx

Whew! I’m glad I don’t “need” this one! A couple nice items I’ll look for on the swap board.

Reply ButtonReply

May

I am glad that I don’t “need” this box as I have to purchase some refills of things I “need” like foundation.

Reply ButtonReply

Emily

Nice box, but nothing I need, thank goodness!

Reply ButtonReply

Dawn

I need this but I none of the codes work 🙁

Reply ButtonReply

Ragan

If you have been with Birchbox for awhile, like I have, you have probably used most of them before!

If you have been subscribing, your best bet for a discount is to try in the second half of the month using one of the anniversary codes (Google “Birchbox anniversary codes” for a list). You can use any code for a month you are at or have already passed. Most are 20+% off. But they are only active during the later part of the month. I am guessing this will be around for that long.

Reply ButtonReply

Ann

I have a 10 dollar off code they just sent me if anyone wants it. I know it’s not as good as 20% off, but it might help someone.

Ann

I just used TAKEOFF20 and it worked. I ended up typing it in to get it to work. Good luck.

Reply ButtonReply

Krista

I think you can only use them once though, so if Dawn used them previously for an order, they won’t go again.

Ragan

Well what do you know, there was a code in the list I hadn’t actually used yet. *This* is the kind of LE box I like to see from Birchbox.

Reply ButtonReply

Britt

Just ordered–the code WELCOMEOFFER20 worked.

Reply ButtonReply

Randi

Well despite my best efforts to “cut back” – I’ll of course be getting this one. I just love that tray! and I’ll use most of the products too 🙂

Reply ButtonReply

Mary

TAKEALEAP20 code worked for 20% off. Used my points plus free shipping for Aces = total cost of $1.20!!!! Yay! Love that tray!

Reply ButtonReply

Sara

I broke down and bought it 🙁 I LOVE Laura Geller and the tray is soooo cute. I got a coupon to work and had $10 on my old account.

Reply ButtonReply

Ann

I just realized you get the tray with it. *SIGH* Sometimes I really hate this place. 😀

Reply ButtonReply

Liz Cadman

I know – that tray looks great!!

Reply ButtonReply

Ann

You made me do it. 😀 I convinced myself I needed the tray because my other one is getting “full”. I could have bought just the tray, but I might as well get the whole thing. I’m saving money, right?! That’s what I told myself, anyway. HAHA

Lee

300+ points and a birthday coupon…. This is mine.
Happy Birthday to me.

Reply ButtonReply

Randi

I was wondering about a birthday coupon… my birthday is in April, but I don’t remember seeing anything yet – when do they usually send them?

Reply ButtonReply

Lee

They sent me an email with a promo code.

Liz Cadman

??

Reply ButtonReply

Sara

Oh crap I’ve been avoiding the last SE Birchbox, but this one looks great! Unfortunately I have points saved up 🙁

Reply ButtonReply

Ann

Sooo tempting! I just received the Laura Geller blush though. Hmmm, decisions, decisions. I blame you and this site for this new obsession I have! 🙂 It’s so bad, I was actually looking at the tampon post from the other day, thinking about what a good deal it was and who I knew that could use them, since I no longer have a need for them. Yeah, it’s that bad. I think I need Sub Box Anon.
