Squix QBox is a relatively new subscription box. Each month they send you germ-fighting products customized to your preferences. (You get to review the 3 items and make changes if you want to before the box ships).

Full Details: Squix QBox is a monthly subscription. All future QBoxes are customizable. You can pause or cancel anytime online.

Good to know: Squix offers a customizable box. Each month they highlight one featured product, and subscribers can pick their other two products. Here is what you'll see when you check out:

Milstein's Pure Floor Cleaner & Disinfectant Concentrate - Value $5.99

I was familiar with several of the brands offered by Squix, but this one was new to me, so I wanted to try it! This is made with tea tree oil, distilled vinegar and borax. The scent works for me, and I like that you can use it in the concentrated form or diluted for general floor cleaning.

Seventh Generation Disinfecting Wipes - Value $3.99

This is the featured item of the month. You get to pick out two items of your choice, and then Squix picks one (it varies every month). Here is what I saw when I checked out:

(I switched both of the optional items.)

These wipes are a staple at our house - always good for counter tops, remotes, x-box controllers, anything else with germs!

Wireless Wipes - Value $4.49

This was my second item selection for the month. It's one of the items I always need but don't always remember to buy, so I'm happy I noticed these when putting together my QBox.

These work well to clean AND they also removed streaks and smudges!

Jo-Sha Lavender Wipe - Value $1

And every Squix QBox comes with a bonus extra! These wipes smell so good! They are designed to be used for yoga mats, but I use them for just about everything!

Verdict: This box has a value of about $16. That's lower than the $20 a month cost, but one thing to mention is that I ordered before they added the $5 QCash Card with all boxes, so that should bring the value up to just above the cost of the box (if you plan on using it).

While I wish the value was higher, to be fair, I should also call out then when picking out my two products for the box, I wasn't looking at prices and trying to maximize my value. If you do that, your value will be a little higher.

Considering there are no surprises - you can make sure you'll use every item included and you pick the most expensive products, this could be a good value for some - especially if you want to try out new brands. (I noticed quite a few green cleaning brands I want to try.)

And of course, it is a great deal with the current $7.99 offer. (And Squix allows you to skip/pause any month you aren't interested in.)

What do you think of Squix? I feel like this could also be a great subscription to gift for college students. (But maybe that's just because I took a class called Common Human Diseases in college and have been slightly freaked out about germs/bacteria ever since!)

They won’t let you cancel unless you call them during highly inconvenient hours. Do not order this box.

I am not getting why this sub will work. The inventory is mostly common stuff you can get in a convenience store! I use mostly Charlie’s, Better Life and Caldrea. None of my stuff is featured. I did get the promo boxes because I was curious but I am just convinced this model has legs.

I got the 7th generation wipes, a box of individual packet handi wipes, a big bottle of 409, and a big bottle of Dawn dishwashing liquid. I priced it all on amazon it was about $32. I didn’t select anything for my box, it just came with those items. I was happy with the box, I needed two of those things right now anyway.

I got one box this month and just cancelled it. Didn’t feel it was worth the $21.99 price I paid. I got in under the first promo where they sent the first box free. So technically I guess I got 2 boxes for $21.99… so not too bad but I’m just not really excited about cleaning products!

I did the same thing! Didn’t feel it was worth the price, I do much better catching the sales at Target.
