Scentbird sends out authentic perfume each month in smaller vials for you to try them out, or switch up your scent more often.
When you sign up, you fill out a survey to determine your scent preferences, and they recommend specific scents for you to try out. You add perfumes to your queue when you find one that you want to try which is how they choose what to send each month. If you don't choose one by the cut off date, they will send you the scent of the month. Next month it is F by Ferragamo pour Homme Black EDT.
Scentbird includes a twist up perfume atomizer with your first shipment. You can order additional atomizers on their website for an additional fee.
When you subscribe to Scentbird, you'll get a $15.00 credit every month to buy a full sized bottle of cologne.
Scentbird has also introduced a new a la carte service. You can choose any cologne you want, with each spray being just $16.95 plus shipping (shipping is free if you order 3 or more sprays). The cases are sold separately.
This month, the next cologne in my line up was Armani Code Sport. I need to switch up my lineup a bit, since I just received the original Armani code in December! I actually like the scent of this cologne better than the original Armani Code. This has notes of mint, citrus, and vetiver. It seems quite a bit more crisp than the original, which I like quite a bit more. This is almost like a hybrid of Armani Code and Aqua di Gio, which is one of my favorite scents of all time!
Verdict: As far as value goes, all Scentbird vials are the same size, 8 ml, or .27 oz. This particular cologne that I chose has a value of about $10.80 based on that. If you choose more expensive colognes, obviously your value would increase. This is what my husband likes though, so for us, it's worth getting a scent he'll wear, vs. just getting a good value. For men's colognes in particular, it is pretty hard to find a smaller size bottle for traveling, if you don't want to take all 3 oz. of your cologne in your toiletries kit. The fact that we can choose colognes we like, in a smaller size that we can't find regularly is great. I love Scentbird for this reason! Plus, you get your $15.00 back in a credit in their shop for cologne, even if you don't love your choice for the month!
