“Ethically sourced and made from the highest quality Makrana marble, our new Mostess Signature Marble Cheese Boards exude rustic elegance. The best part? Not one, but two, of these beautiful boards are included in our Spring Box.”

I purchased the last VIP box and this spring box. Both times I used a discount code. The VIP box for instance came down to $84 and with what was included in that box-absolutely was good value. In fact that was one of the most beautiful sub boxes I ever opened!
I agree $120 is pretty steep to pay for each box.

What coupon did you use to get it for $84? the msa one was for 20% so it would be $96?

At this price point, the curation would have to be amazing. Yet based on this and the first box, it isn’t. You can buy a year of Luxor AND Oui Please EACH for the cost of this. Salt & pepper cellars and a common brand candle? Nope. I have gotten plenty of Tocca candles in boxes. A truely unique to subs brand like Jo Malone would have made this a different box.
If I am spending $1,440/year on a sub, it better have stuff I cannot get at Home Goods or Macy’s on sale plus coupons!

Thank you for your feedback.
Just a quick note from Mostess Box that it is a bi-monthly box (not monthly) that includes free shipping. We hope you continue to follow as we reveal more insight and sneak peeks into our Spring Box.

I like the idea behind this box…but it is WAY overpriced!! I believe they’re a new subscription box, right? At this pricepoint, I wonder if they’ll make it? It seems like they are targeting a bit of a niche market…and I wonder how many people will be willing to pay a monthly $120 for entertaining goodies?

It’s every other month. I dunno … I think the curating is really nice. The VIP box and the Spring box are different enough, but you could use the items together to make a pretty table with the little pots/spoons and Dore nesting bowls for little snacks. The math comes out to something like $16 for each item, which is way less than I’d expect to pay for a lot of these things, especially the gold tray from the last box.

I hate using salt & pepper cellars. Shakers were invented for a reason.

I always use a salt cellar because we only use/cook with sea salt. No pepper shaker either, only a mill because pre-ground black pepper tastes like crap.

I like the suggestion the box provided in the caption for using them to serve jam.

Is anyone else having a problem with the promo code? I have tried to enter both the MSA code and the code from previous comments and neither code is working. HELP!?

Worked for me.

Did you just type it in to the coupon section? “msa20”

I like the curation of this box, but the value is not there. I can easily cherry pick the items I like and buy those without dropping $120.
Great ideas but I can’t justify the cost.

I think these are just the two guaranteed items. There should be other items in the box. Also, you probably only get one salt cellar and there are various designs. I can’t imagine what one person would need four salt cellars for (unless you were REALLY into different flavored salts!)

Thank you for your feedback.
Regarding the Spring Sneak Peeks from Mostess Box, as you have seen in the MSA Spoiler, we have revealed that we are featuring a Tocca candle and full set of four Rosanna cellars with four matching spoons in each box. Mostess will reveal more surprises and items for the Spring Box very soon. We encourage you to keep following for more details.

Exactly my thoughts! They’re cute but even if you break it down to $120 divided by 4 items; I would never pay $24 for the candle or the salt and pepper cellars.
