La Luna Salt Company Dill Salt (1.5 oz.) - $6
This salt is infused with dill and is recommended for use with marinades, spreads, salads, fish and dips. I love dill and I’m looking forward to using some on my Greek salads. I think a flavored salt is a fun addition to a lifestyle box!
They also included a sample size pouch of chocolate chip cookie sugar. This is made with smoked sugar and cacao beans. It is sweet and slightly smoky and was delicious sprinkled on my plain yogurt with fresh sliced strawberries.
Inspirational Quote - $5
Cooking is Love – made visible everyday…
This is a cute quote printed on cardstock. It’s about the size of a postcard so I feel this value is inflated.
Beauty Within Us Caffeine Enhanced Anti-Cellulite Coffee Cream - $10
This cream smells good enough to eat! It’s filled with wonderful ingredients like Cocoa butter, shea butter and olive oil. While I can’t attest to the claims about helping rid me of cellulite, I’m happy to give it a shot. Maybe my thighs will thank me in a couple of weeks…The Beauty Within Us website lists the price for this cream as $8.99 but there is no size information on my jar so maybe that’s the slight pricing discrepancy. I love discovering new small batch companies and there are quite a few products I’d be interested in checking out on their site.
Candy Buckingham bracelet - $12
This fun beaded bracelet has an eclectic mix of wooden beads, metal discs, and assorted plastic beds. It’s adjustable which is nice to fit different sized wrists. This particular bracelet isn’t on their website and I am unable to find another that’s even similar. Candy Buckingham is a website that sells all different handmade jewelry and hand painted glassware.
Hello! Bliss Box’s own Embrace the Mess apron -$22
Love the saying on the front of the apron. I don’t wear an apron while I cook, but this will be passed along as a nice gift. This is a polyester/cotton blend apron which feels pretty lightweight. I think the value may be a little inflated for this item.
UPDATE: Hello! Bliss reached out to let us know they normally send a 5x7 inspirational quote on heavier cardstock compared to the 4x6 inspirational quote that came in this month's box. Next month's box will be back to the 5x7 version!
Verdict: I enjoyed my first Hello! Bliss Box. The kitchen/food theme was fun. The retail value of the items in this box totals approximately $55. Though I feel some of the items are overinflated I appreciate the curation and love finding new small batch companies.
What do you think of this month’s Hello! Bliss Box? Which item from the box would you be most excited to receive?
