Five Four Club is a monthly men’s clothing subscription service. You take a brief survey when you sign up (sizes and style preferences), and then each month they send you on average 2-3 new clothing pieces or accessories. For reference, my style profile is “T-Shirt and jeans.”

I've been subscribing March 2013 and in general, I'm very happy with the quality of the clothing and the value - especially the t-shirts. (We’ve found the sizing to be similar to American Eagle’s sizing if that helps!)

My Subscription Addiction pays for this subscription. (Check out the review process post to learn more about how we review boxes).

Five Four Club Subscription Review + Coupon April 2016 - shirt and pants

Five Four Club no longer puts values on their invoices, and all of their clothing is from their own brand, so giving a value to each piece is difficult. So, I mainly review this one on whether the pieces fit my style profile!

Five Four Club Subscription Review + Coupon April 2016 - shirt

Caine Long-Sleeved Shirt

This is an interesting shirt. It's a soft cotton, which is nice, but the bottom half of the shirt seems like it just has a solid print on the cotton making it really rigid on the bottom. Overall, I like it! In the past, sizing was a bit difficult and a lot of their bigger sizes were tight in the shoulder. They seem to have fixed the shoulder issues, but now the bigger sizes are much bigger - I was practically swimming in this one.

Five Four Club Subscription Review + Coupon April 2016 - jeans

Hunter Jeans

The second, and last, item is a pair of jeans. These are 98% cotton and 2% spandex - which I'm a fan of since it makes the jeans a bit softer and gives it that little bit of stretch. You will have to get all of your pants hemmed from Five Four Club, as they don't cut their pants to length - I have to take almost 8 inches off of these ones!

Verdict: File this subscription under ones that I look forward to each and every month! I've been consistently happy with Five Four Club for some time now since they solved their issue with broad shoulders. This is also the second time in the past 3 deliveries that I received jeans - and that's a win for me since I love their jeans! They've done a great job sticking to my 'Casual' style profile as well. It's tough to judge this one on value since it's all their own brand, but I've never felt like I got less than I should have for my monthly fee.

I got the exact same items as you did & this is the first month I only received 2 items. I’ve always gotten 3 items each month, so I feel like this month was a big disappointment. I mean $60 a month for 3 items was awesome! I thought that was the norm. I mean, I know this is a white girl problem, but I’m still super bummed.

I think they usually send 3 items when a t-shirt or socks are involved. I could totally be wrong on that, but the last time I got 3 items was October.

I got this subscription for my boyfriend for about 6 months. Unfortunately it didn’t work for us because he is 6’4 and their jeans weren’t long enough and he kept getting jeans even though I emailed them about the Jean length. His slightly shorter cousin was super happy because he got some free jeans.

Oh no! Their jeans aren’t long enough for 6’4″ guys? That’s awful…I just signed up for this!
