Each box comes with a card detailing the items included with pictures.

beauty-fix-march-2016-glytone

Radical Skincare Advanced Peptide Antioxidant Serum - 8 ml Value $50

Wow! The full-sized version of this is only .5 oz and it is $95! This sample is pretty small, but it is actually a little over half the full-size! The formula itself is phthalate and sulfate free. It is designed to reduce wrinkles, even skintone, and firm skin.

I'm skeptical if this sample is enough for me to see results, but I'm hopeful! After trying it once, I loved how quickly it absorbed and how soft and smooth it made my skin feel.

Glytone Sunscreen Lotion Broad Spectrum SPF 40 - 5 ml Value $1.60

(Good to know for swaps - has inner foil seal)

This is a pretty small sample, but it should be good for one or maybe two face applications. It has the classic sunscreen scent, easily goes from white to clear when you rub it in, but like mant sunscreens it did leave my skin slightly oily.

beauty-fix-march-2016-dr-brandt

Dr. Brandt Pores No More Pore Thing with EVERMAT - FULL SIZE! Value $45

Yay for full-sized Dr. Brandt! I love the sphere packaging, and it comes with a little spatula, too. Here it is opened:

After reading the product info sheet included in the box, and searching online I still couldn't find a clear answer to my question of how do I apply this? Is it something you put on and remove after a certain amount of time? Or is a base you apply your makeup over?

This is somewhat useful:

I've decided to interpret this as a product I leave on, and can apply makeup over, so that's what I did! I found that it made my skin feel smoother and better for makeup application, but I didn't notice a different in pore sizes.

beauty-fix-march-2016-lip-quench

DermStore Lip Quench Sheer Tints in Coral Sunset - FULL SIZE! Value $12

This lip gloss give sheer color, a little bit of shine, and no stickiness! (Swatched below.)

Batiste Dry Shampoo in Tropical - Travel Size (5o ml) Value $1.50

I think Batiste was the first brand of dry shampoo I ever tried! I think it falls into the drugstore cult classic beauty product category, and with good reason. It works great, and I like the Tropical scent, too!

beauty-fix-march-2016-nick

Nick Chavez Advanced Plump ‘N Thick Leave-In Thickening Conditioner - 2 oz Value $5.50

I didn't find that this leave-in conditioner added volume to my hair, but most leave-in conditioners weigh-down my hair, and this one didn't, so I still consider that a win. And it made my hair softer and seemed to tame frizz, so it is a keeper!

Paula’s Choice RESIST Vitamin C Spot Treatment - .16 oz Value $17.60

Yay! This gets great reviews on Birchbox, and I feel like this sample is large enough to use it for weeks and see results. Fingers crossed for a more even skintone soon!

beauty-fix-march-2016-bag

DermStore Small Travel Bag - Value $4?

I thought this was a weird/interesting inclusion in the box! Here it is with an iPhone 6+ to show scale:

I think I will actually use this as a shoe bag for travel - I'm already stocked with makeup bags!

Verdict: This box has a value of about $137! I think BeautyFix almost always delivers a great value compared to the cost, and they did that again this month. I'm really happy with the skincare samples this month - much better sizes then they sometimes send!

What do you think of the March 2016 Beauty Fix box? What are your favorite items this month?

Is there a 50% off coupon for this box? And what ever happened to Haute Look beauty bag?

Unfortunately, BeautyFix has discontinued their discount (at least for now). And no word on the next HauteLook Beauty Bag – sorry I don’t have better answers for you! 🙁

The sunscreen broke my face out in a severe rash.. And I don’t have sensitive skin. Now my face is covered in a rash it’s been 3 days I didn’t even know sunscreen could do that its all I used and then I went out and noticed it was awful

Thank you for the review! I forgot to cancel and received this box, but at least I can use all of the expensive products, lol. I thought the same thing for using the bag as shoe bag for travelling.

Awww I regret cancelling now. That February box was such a disappointment that I just couldn’t risk another $26. but this box looks amazing!

You know I got a majority of old expired stuff from the Dermstaore for Xmas. They made it up to me pretty good, although at first, no. The last item to arrive for the, “makeup” had the expiration date scrubbed off. There was even a residue and a circular scrubbing pattern.

Now on to this months box. Most of those samples except for the Radical skincare and shampoo were tiny. More like a $15 box.

Their own brand of lippie called lip quench, is handed out often as a full sized product “filler”. I have a handful of them.

Now on to the really big issue…. That Dr Brant product was discontinued. So basically they are unloading crap on us. I am certain you all remember the expired stuff. Or what about the stuff that we got multiple times where as the second time, the box was removed since it had the expiration date on it.

And that bag was an insult… No more beautyfix for me….

I subscribed to this for nearly a year. My first 2 boxes i really enjoyed, add they promised high end cosmetics, and i got at least one sample of that each time. But for the last several months i could not use the majority of the items in the box. I keep getting full sized hair growth treatments. Really? There should be some way to select what you’re getting, or opt out for the month if you don’t need those items, but nope. Cancelled! Getting allure box now to try

Yesterday, I got on the online Dermstore chat to cancel my subscription with them, while at the same time I got on the Allure website to sign up with them. Two birds, one stone ahaha.

Glad I didn’t subscribe. I don’t need any of that.

I’m glad I cancelled. Nothing I want or need here.

I think you calculated the first item wrong. .17 oz is actually 1/3 if the full size .50 oz, so the value is about $32 not $50

Liz Cadman

Just checked the bottle, it is .27 oz, 8 ml. Here were my calculations: $95/15 ml = $6.33 a ml. $6.33 X 8 = $50.66

Hope that makes sense!

Oh. I thought the pic said .17
