ZBox is a geeky subscription box that ships from the UK. I've had my eye on this box for a bit, so I was excited to receive my first box a couple of days ago!

My Subscription Addiction paid for this box. (Check out the review process post to learn more about how we review boxes.)

Spider-Man Munny - Value $22.99 on Amazon

I had a smaller version of this Spider-Man munny from a box a couple of years ago. This one is much bigger and cooler! They include stickers and accessories to build Spider-Man how you want!

Here's a look at some of the stickers. They are thicker felt objects.

Max Sockatansky - Value $5-10

These are my favorite items in the box! This sock show off the, now, classic Mad Max shot of him being strapped to the front of a car from Mad Max: Fury Road!

Fallout Keyring - Value $14.99 on Amazon

This is a rather large keyring - and it's really well made! This shows off your Fallout love with a Nuka-Cola bottle cap!

Marvel 2016 Calendar - Value $5-10?

I can't find this exact one online, but it's from Marvel Comics, and features info about all of the news runs in 2016!

These are nice reminders for me to check out the latest stories that I'm interested in!

The Martian - Value $9 on Amazon

This is my third copy of this book, and it definitely fits well with the 'Blockbuster' theme! Liz made me read this book in early 2015, and I'm glad she did! We loved both the book and the movie.

Batman Arkham Genesis #1 - Value $3.99

This is an exclusive variant cover which, unfortunately, I was unable to find a value for. This is issue #1 of a 6 issue miniseries.

Star Wars Free Previews - Free

They also include free previews of Marvel's Star Wars runs. I've been reaading the Star Wars, Darth Vadar, Kanan, and Princess Leia and I love them all. There are many more Star Wars titles now, and I think I'll be reading them all eventually!

Doctor Who Collectors Construction Figure - Value $5?

This is a paper construction set featuring a Silurian from Doctor Who.

Here's a look at how you build out the 3D paper model!

Lastly, they throw in next month's theme! Of course, it revolves around Deadpool!

Verdict: I enjoyed my first ZBox! I thought it was a good collection of items that stuck to the theme, even though it was a broad theme. There was really good value here too! I like getting some boxes from the UK, because I like getting some UK-based geeky toys, I think it's a cool perk of a box like this one.

This was the box that ended my subscription to ZBox. I love the socks but everything else felt like filler. The Martian book is generally sold in UK shops for £4 and the Marvel calendar I already has a freebie from the local comic shop.

My nephew loves the Munny though.

I would like to add that after ending my subscription I received numerous email offers and eventually gave in to get the Killer box for half price.

I find it odd they included a calendar over a month into the year and a book to a movie that’s been out on dvd for a few months now.
