Scentbird has released a men's monthly cologne subscription.

Scentbird was "Born out of frustration with the "perfume graveyard" - expensive bottles of designer perfume collecting dust on your dresser or cabinet - Scentbird was created to provide an alternative that is both practical and exciting."

My Subscription Addiction paid for this box. (Check out the review process post to learn more about how we review boxes.)

Good to know: When you subscribe to Scentbird you get a monthly $15 credit towards purchasing a full-sized bottle!

Scentbird sends out authentic perfume each month in smaller vials for you to try them out, or switch up your scent more often.

When you sign up, you fill out a survey to determine your scent preferences, and they recommend specific scents for you to try out.  You add perfumes to your queue when you find one that you want to try which is how they choose what to send each month.  If you don't choose one by the cut off date, they will send you the scent of the month.  Next month it is Paco Rabanne One Million.

Scentbird includes a twist up perfume atomizer with your first shipment.  You can order additional atomizers on their website for an additional fee.

Scentbird has also introduced a new a la carte service.  You can choose any cologne you want, with each spray being just $16.95 plus shipping (shipping is free if you order 3 or more sprays).  The cases are sold separately.

This month I chose Giorgio Armani - Acqua Di Gio Pour Homme.  The notes are marine notes, mandarin, bergamot, neroli, persimmon, rosemary, nasturtium, jasmine, amber, patchouli, and cistus.  It amazes me how perfumers put all of these scents together and make it irresistible!

Verdict:  The amount of cologne you receive in these is about 0.27 oz.  Using the smallest bottle on Sephora's website, the value comes out to about $14.10.  If you were to calculate the value based on the largest bottle, the value goes down significantly, but the whole point is to get smaller bottles to try out - which is obviously going to cost more.

I love this scent.  I wear the women's version of this cologne as my summer scent, and I've always loved the men's scent as well.  I know it's an older scent, but I just can't resist it!  My husband liked the scent, and will definitely wear it.

We're really enjoying Scentbird for Men for trying out new scents!  Have you given it a try yet?

Bekki first discovered subscription boxes in 2014 and they quickly took over her life! (Not quite, but pretty close.) She started with POPSUGAR Must Have, then moved to Little Lace Box, Birchbox, Hamptons Lane...the rest was history. Her favorite product find is Beekman 1802 Fudge (so, so good) and her favorite boxes are Birchbox and Hamptons Lane...but she's always looking for a new subscription to try!
