rain-city-feb-info

This is the info card that was included with this package. It details the items included this month, plus gives a bit of the back story on the businesses that provided them. This month's theme is "Love To'Self...or Someone Else."

rain-city-feb-balm

Rosehip Lip Butter by Sakari Botanicals - Value $5

This lip balm smells great and is pretty light for a beeswax formula. I always say we can never get enough lip balm at my house, but this winter I think we've finally managed to stay ahead of the curve! What I like most about this lip balm is that it was produced by a Native American female owned business! I really like what Rain City is doing to support local business.

rain-city-feb-caramel

Caramel Sauce by Hot Cakes - Value $10

I'm not much of a caramel fan, but my husband absolutely loves it, and he is obsessed with this salted caramel sauce! I like that it's organic, and you can read all about how it's processed on their website.

rain-city-feb-candle

Strawberries & Cream Travel Candle by Market Spice - Value $4.95

I could smell this candle before I even opened the box, and it smells wonderful! Just like the real thing! Plus I love that it's a candle made by a spice company.

rain-city-feb-tee

"Intertwined" Fitted Tee by Forestry - Value $26

This tee shirt is so soft and comfortable! The design confuses me, though. This is the back, and it's also on the front where a logo or brand might be on a tee. I love the company, though, because they plant a tree for every item sold! Be the change, Forestry Clothing!

rain-city-feb-chocolates

rain-city-feb-chocolates-2

Stiletto Fine Chocolates - Value $6?

I probably deserve a medal because I split these with my husband. They tasted amazing. The little box is super cute, too!

Verdict: This was a great box from Rain City! I think they are doing a great job showing off the artists, artisans and small businesses of the PNW. The value of the items in this box totals about $51, which is great for a $41 box. I can't wait to see what's coming next month!

I’m so tempted by this box. It doesn’t have a huge WOW factor, but it consistently has items I would actually use.
