This is my first real Julep box where I get to customize. (I already received my “welcome box”) Can someone please explain what the “secret store” is please? I already customized my box and did the 3 add-ons. And then I had a 50% off coupon so I went to use that but ended up doing 2 separate orders because I saw the free wedding polish duo! So now I have like… 10+ new polishes and makeup stuff coming my way. But a secret store?! What is this! I can’t remember the last time I got so excited over a subscription box lol

Anyone else change their box like 10 times in the 4 day window? Anyway, I have one other question. Are the new polishes for the month generally available at the secret store afterwards?

I’m fairly new to Julep, this is only my second box. If you skip a month, are you still able to shop at the secret store when it opens?

No, you don’t. You can when the Secret Store opens for everyone (the prices can be higher than when it opens for Mavens who took their box). But, I have gotten around this system before by finding websites that give links to all the items individually. Then I can buy them at the cheapest prices offered. I haven’t taken a box since January 2015. Lol

I’m surprised no one has mentioned this yet, but this week, I received an email that I would now be able to customize my box for no extra charge. I think that it’s amazing how Maven just keeps adding services and perks when many other companies seem to be raising prices, and I love how flexible they are with their skipping policy since I can’t and don’t need to purchase polish every month.

Way back when I signed up for Julep, there was no customization at all outside of Secret Store add-ons. You also couldn’t skip unless you’d bought a certain number of months of boxes (something like 6).
Interesting to see that things are more flexible these days, though.

No, being able to swap in and out individual selections was priced higher (about 24.99 I think?) unless you bought three months at a time or something to get the 19.99 rate. The email I also received let me customize this month for 19.99.

Got 7 polishes and the 2 featured eyeliners. I think the shimmery polishes will be good for spring/summer.
