February Special Edition “Love & Spoil” Luxor Box Spoiler #2

It’s a lovely bag, but I’m glad I did not get this box. I wanted to, but
the $200 price tag was too steep for me. If it had been $50 less I might have bitten. Now that I see the whole box I’m very happy I didn’t bite since I’m getting the Rachel Zoe box of style for less than half the price with a purse I think will work better for me.

Personally I really like the bag. The color and general shape is appealing to me. Unfortunately, the size of the bag wouldn’t work for me. It wouldn’t be able to hold my phone, which is one of the few things that I have to be able to fit in a smaller purse. If it were bigger, then I wouldn’t mind going for it. But, alas, it wouldn’t end up being used much.

I think it’s beautiful. If I can’t use it as a cross-body bag, I’m sure I can use it as a wallet. I’m always fascinated by the amount of complaining that goes on — things are either over-priced or too “low priced” (although it’s hard for me to wrap my head around a small bag at $300+ being low priced); they’re too this or too that; whatever. I personally think the surprise element is half the fun of these boxes.

I love the bag, but I hate having a designer’s name printed in such big, visible letters. To me, it makes it look cheap.

That bag is GORGEOUS!! I adore that color! Alas, it is way too teeny for me. I am quite large and small accessories like this just emphasize my size. Besides, the strap is probably too short; the bad would fall at an awkward spot. I’d have to use it as a wallet.

I have zero interest in that necklace.

The BB website describes this as a convertible clutch/crossbody and has several photographs with different views. I think I like it better as clutch and, given the small size, I might just use it as a lovely wallet!

The necklace seems really overpriced compared to the other necklaces on her site… with that said I hope she included a coupon to her website.

If Brandon Blackwood was willing to let go of their wares at such a low price, then either (1) the company knows that their purses are not worth what they charge, or (2) they couldn’t sell this particular design. There’s usually a reason.

This box is not my taste, and I knew that from the first spoiler. However, it really screams Valentine’s Day! Both items are really cute and fit the theme perfectly for a traditional take on Valentine’s. All it needs is some chocolate.

I purchased this, but I am not impressed with this purse. I’m hoping I like it better in person, but I doubt it. Really wish it had been a black piece like everything else he makes.

Love it! So excited. Can’t wait to see it. For those not as happy, I’m sure it will be something that others will desire (trade, sell on eBay etc). It’s brand new item in his collection.

I hate to say that I am so super-bummed at the Brandon Blackwood spoiler. I loved the last BB piece and only purchased this box because he was featured. I never in a million years expected the piece to be bright red. I’m used to primarily seeing his black, more versatile, pieces. I don’t carry crossbodies and red is my absolute least-favorite color. I feel a bit sick to my stomach that I spent this much on the box, as I only justified it (partially to my husband!) because I thought I’d get an awesome BB piece that I’d get a ton of use out of. Sooooooo bummed and disappointed. =(

Also, since these two account for $635 out of the ~$700 retail value, there won’t be much else in the box…

The color is lovely, but at 6×5 I have wallets that are larger. Not even sure that (given the shape) it would fit my iPhone….
