Blindbox Comics is one of the newer comic subscription boxes out there. They have 3 different purchase options - BlindBox, BlindVariant, or BlindBox + BlindVariant in month-to-month, 3, 6, or 12-month frequencies.
This is a review of the BlindBox + BlindVariant subscription!

American Monster #1 - Value $3.99
From Amazon:
The ugliest side of humanity may be humanity's only hope. In a small Midwestern town, a large man with a horribly scarred face gets off a bus, and takes a room. He spooks the locals--nobody knows him--or do they? It's impossible to say be-cause he seemingly has no face. The man's intentions remain unknown, until he takes on a corrupt sheriff and the rural crew of racist arms dealers. The town's impression of the man changes, and he's seen as a hero...until his real intentions bubble to the surface. The man isn't there to end the gang, but to take it over.
This sounds awesome! While I really enjoy getting Marvel runs, it's also awesome to get smaller batch runs!
Pencil Head #1 - Value $3.99
While I think the artwork/style is cool in this comic, it wasn't really up my alley. But, again, it's nice to try new reads - they can't always work out for me!
Old Man Logan #1 - Value $4.99
YES! So, I love the Old Man Logan storyline. I have Marvel Unlimited and I'm currently still reading the Secret Wars Old Man Logan run, so I'll have to save this - but I'm excited!
Seems like the right time to show off the Old Man Logan statue!
Jem and the Holograms #11 - Value $3.99
I always think of my sister when I see anything Jem related. This one isn't for me, though.
Bloodshot Reborn #10 - Value $3.99
This one has a nice, thick, cover - which I appreciate. The paper thin covers always tend to easily damage. I'm not familiar with Blood Shot at all - This is one I'll have to try out, though.
BlindBonus Low #1 - Value $1.00
This was tossed in for free this month! Has anyone read this yet? It's looking pretty interesting, so Im' going to give it a try tonight.
BlindVariant Devolution #1 - Value $3.99
Variant Value - $16.99
This certainly brings up images of Planet of the Apes, which is exactly what they were going for with this exclusive variant cover! Blindbox Comics had the superstar artist Jae Lee pen this cover! There are 3 editions: Color - limited to 800, Black and White (seen here) - limited to 150, and Virgin Color (w/o print) - limited to 50. I love this aspect of the subscription! Both the exclusivity and the random draw aspect, I'm always excited opening the envelope!
Verdict: I'm still having a ton of fun with BlindBox Comics! I'm discovering new titles, and collecting these rare variant issues! This month was definitely short on variant covers unlike last month - which can sometimes boost the value of the items depending on what you value in a comic yourself.
What did you think of the February BlindBox Comics? What titles do you suggest I read?
BlindBox Comics was kind enough to hold onto a box from this month to give away to one lucky MSA reader! Enter below!
