Wow, got my box today, mix up big time. My box does not match the web site or the card that came with it. Too bad I could not pick to get samples that go with the card, I can use 4 of those products with my allergies. But can only use one sample out of what was sent to me….
Anyone else get different samples than their card and different than what is up on your account?

My box matches it’s card, but my Sample Choice wasn’t honored. I took a screenshot of my confirmation email and sent it to CS with a polite request to look into it. They resonded within the hour (at 10 p.m.!). The rep apologized, offered me 50 bonus points, and said I will receive my Sample Choice separately within 10 days. I was very pleased with the resolution but hope this is not a warning of things to come.
Another small point I noticed was that the copy on the product card was riddled with grammatical and spelling errors. Maybe the proof readers were in the 15% staff cut? It’s obviously not a big deal, but it’s shocking to me how quickly the company seems to be going downhill!

I just cancelled my Birchbox subscription after about 35 or so boxes. Some boxes were awesome but too many were not and some were just ok. I kept waiting for the next one to blow me away but February was just horrible. I was sad to go but its so not worth it. 🙁

I’m getting Naobay moisturizer,hey honey (pys choice),the sea berry serum – fine to medium (which isn’t my hair type),tocca-emelia (I don’t like perfume samples,wouldn’t mind if I got 5 items and it was a bonus but I don’t like it when they make it as one of my samples! Also as others stated on here I debated about the Arrow lip balm but decided not to choose it as my pys but I am still getting it in my box which is nice.

I just checked my box again and it has completely changed….and it doesn’t show my pick either. So, who knows at this point what I’m getting! (Although I really do want my pick.)

I understand that the links went down and then back up, but get this – my non-Ace sub has the sneak peek up (plus tracking for my box), but my Ace account is still showing my January box as “next month’s box.” No sneak peek, no shipping information, nada.
I did sample choice for both boxes, but it’s weird to me that one box would show up but not the other as well as for it to be my non-Ace account that’s up.

Sorry, I meant it’s still showing January as “this month’s box” on my Ace account. I’m an annual subscriber (comes up in November), so it’s not like it’s a payment issue. Just weird that it’s lagging and that it’s the Ace account that’s lagging.

I’m excited about my box! (I only checked one – I will let the other one be a complete surprise.) I am getting:
1. my sample choice – Hey Honey Take it Off mask
2. OCC Lip tar – I hope it’s “Strumpet”
3. Arrow Revive Cooling Cheek Tint
4. Amika blowout spray – might swap
5. Some French perfume that I don’t feel like typing the name of – may or may not swap – depends on if I like it!

The links finally worked for me! I didn’t get to pick a sample on my non-Ace box and it’s not terribly thrilling. The only thing I’m excited about is the Juara body cream, LOVE that stuff. My ace account is already getting a perfume sample which I despise getting. I picked the Whish cleansing oil, getting a ModelCo lip liner, perfume sample, Neuma Beauty scalp therapy, and Arrow cheek tint which looks cool.

Link is working again and it still shows the same stuff, thank goodness, soooo excited about all my boxs this month! Ipsy seems decent, love my bb, I managed to get the target box and I’m super excited about almost everything in all the boxs. We are super poor this month, so these boxs are kind of like my valentines day presents 😀

So the box that I see (and the one I saw yesterday before they temporarily shut down the link) doesn’t have the item I requested during sample choice. Not sure if I should bother them now since they always say that the items might change up until the 10th. What’s in my box isn’t terrible necessarily but I was looking forward to the REN mask (and I got a confirmation for it).
Currently my box has:

I ordered the Date Night box. It’s just in time for a big Police Ball event that I have this weekend. Hopefully the box will arrive in time, it’s set for either Friday or Saturday.
I worried about what others had said about the illuminator being replaced, but I can finally look at mine and it looks like there’s just the one perfume sample as was intended.
I am most looking forward to trying the blow out spray and the Lip Tar. I’ve never really been a red lipstick wearer, but maybe this will be my excuse!

I’ve been having trouble with Birchbox’s site lately, especially on Firefox it won’t even open anything. You click and it does nothing. I can’t get any secret link to show either one of my boxes 🙁 I only got to pick a sample for my Ace account before everything was “sold out”.

I’ve been having the same problem on Birchbox.com with Firefox… nothing is clickable. (This is independent of trying to see a box reveal, rather an issue with just using the site at all.) The workaround that has been working is to ctrl + right click (open in new tab) on the link you want to open, and it does successfully open in a new tab. It’s a big pain to not have any of the links on the site working though.

I should note that plain right clicking to choose “open in new tab” under the right click menu doesn’t work either… ctrl + right click is the only way I can navigate the site at all.

that’s weird, I was able to see what was in my box yesterday and now when I try it doesn’t show anything. and a post about the “cheat link” that I responded to on their fb page was deleted. if my box is different then what was shown I’m gonna be so bummed as I loved 4 out of 5 items. anyone else having trouble seeing it today?

Yes, the “cheat link” no longer works. Come on BB, you know we want to see what we are getting..
It worked for me when no other link which show my boxes on either sub. With this link I could see both 🙂

After seeing how many people can see their February box, I’m surprised that neither of mine are up – and one of my accounts is an Ace account. I didn’t choose a curated box for either and chose the Hey Honey peel-off mask as my sample choice for both.

I’m really confused about the cooling cheek tint. I really didn’t need another dry shampoo. I’ve already given a friend two of them, and it’s a good thing we’re having lunch in a couple of weeks so I can give her this one plus one other that I’ve accumulated.
But Eyeko Fat Liquid Eyeliner? I already have two of these (one came in my other sub, and one came in a Mystery Sample Pack), and I just started using one of them last week. It’s not that I don’t like it, but I can’t imagine I’m going to go them very quickly. I think I’m going to have to give it away because I have a feeling everyone is drowning in these, so no one will want to swap it.

Is anyone else having issues contacting BB? You used to be able to call and talk to someone, now you get a message to go online and schedule a call back. I’ve never had an issue with them but they must have just updated this, it’s kind of annoying. I would like to just pick up and call at my convenience but looks like that’s not possible anymore.

I’m getting an Arrow “Cooling” cheek tint…..not sure why I would need or want my cheeks to be cooled by my blush??
Also getting the Whish Cleansing Oil, ModelCo Lip Liner, Cartier perfume, and some scalp therapy (because my scalp has been through some tough stuff lately and is feeling a bit down).

I picked the oil cleanser but had a very hard time choosing it over the lip balm so VERY excited I’m getting both to try. The body wash looks amazing, blackberry and vanilla cream??!! Yes plz.
The nail polish looks like a beautiful color, not sure about the brand.
The hair serum stuff us the only thing Im bummed about, I have it on my profile that I have fine, wavy, oily hair. There is no way I am going to be able to use this stuff, will just weigh my hair down. I thought maybe if it had some nice ingredients that maybe I could use it almost like a mask, and just rinse it out after letting it sit on my hair, but the ingredients are just chemicals and 1 oil, I’ll stick to my pure coconut oil.

I got the exact same! 🙂 I actually picked the Arrow Lip Balm as my choice though.
I also have fine wavy/curly hair on my profile and, for some reason, will also be receiving the serum for medium to coarse hair.
As for the red nail polish, ugh, I can’t pull of red nails or lips…just does not work with my skin tone. However, I’m accruing quite a pile of red, red, red…I never luck out to get pink or neutral. I’m hoping once I get into the swap page, I’ll be able to find a lady who loves red but only ever gets pink, neutral, nude and we can swap those products regularly!! Lol

This is so weird…my sample choice is not in my box, even though it shows up under “My Box”. I’m a longtime Ace and placed my choice first thing the morning it came out, even before it was advertised. Has this ever happened to anyone before? How did you handle it – contact BB?

Same thing for me – I’ve been an ACE since 2014 and my sample choice item is not showing in my box for Feb. (I picked the REN mask.)
They always say that the boxes aren’t final until the 10th so I’m not sure if I should wait until then to contact them…?

This is my second box and I’m pretty impressed. I like fragrance samples though. I thought this would be my first box, but I must have subscribed in time for Jan. Pretty excited about this one..if I can get 4 out of 5 that are decent, I consider it a good month!
