  1. Hmmm, i just looked at the Beautyfix website and they have not posted their March box yet. The last spoiler was out by 2/4…has Beautyfix changed their shipping schedule?

  2. I just went to the site and the monthly subs are closed. This box infuriates me! I was signed up monthly for a long time, all through those months when they offered new subscribers 1/2 price boxes and boxes for $5. Finally I cancelled … I was annoyed that there was no loyalty for customer loyalty.

  3. Not going to lie, I’m really considering subbing just for the purliesse. I got it in my Boxycharm, and it’s AMAZING, basically the best ever. That and the eyelash curler are really the only things I’d use, but if the Purliesse is full size, still a good deal. Ahhhh.

    • The Pur -lisse is full-size and is worth $65 I already have a full-size bottle and just got another one with beauty fix! I Love this stuff it works great and is so worth the box! I am thinking of buying a box for my daughter for half price just to get another bottle! She can have everything else LOL

    • Yes, I can confirm, the Pur-Lisse is full size! $65 value. Just got my box today.

  4. I am most likely going to swap this entire box. Don’t need any of these products, especially the hair/lashes. I have very thick hair and lashes, and do not curl my lashes. Would rather swap for other items I want more. I will post for swapping eventually , but am on vacation from swapping until about 2/16.

  5. I’m thinking I’m happy I didn’t resub since nothing in this box is for me lol.

S/O to the commenter who let me know I should wait for spoilers before resubbing each month; you’ve saved me many dollars 🙂

    • This was my first, and for now, only beauty sub. I canceled last month because I didn’t use many of the items. A face wash, a foaming mask, a Occitane soap and a coffee bean eye cream. They were adequate. OK, I liked the eye cream. But the vast majority of stuff was obscure or useless to me. BF always has a plethora of hair products for problems I don’t have. My fave-not-was the Hair Dirt. Then there were hair plumpers, hair loss solutions, hair fatners, etc. But what really got me was my last shipment-the ‘hero’ item was a face primer. I started to look at on-line reviews of the spackle-each review said the spackle was ‘off’. Was it ever. I opened mine, and the ‘scent’ was ‘unforgetable.’ The primer was a thick, chalky substance glued to the side of the bottle, with a clear, smelly liquid in the center. Tried to clean it out to recycle the bottle. No luck. The hand masque was outdated by 4 or 5 months, so it went directly into the trash. I signed up for FB because it was owned by Target- a sign of some quality.
You get what you pay for. One woman’s trash is another woman’s treasure.

      • Sigh. Forgot to mention I subscribed to FB for 7 months before I canceled. I fair trial perios, I think…

        • What is FB box?

          • I think she meant BF: beautyfix. DermStore is owned by Target

      • What’s FB box ??
Facebook box came to mind lol

      • I’m having to dig out the different products you were talking about. Either I am reading the date wrong on the Hand masks or you are..because the way I am reading it is that AHM (manufactures date) is 150616 which means it was made June 16, 2015 then the EXP is 180615 which means it doesn’t expire until June 15, 2018 and when I took the package out of the cardboard and sort of squished the foil packet it felt like it was moist. I might be wrong but you know it makes more sense the way I read it because in some manufacturing companies they list the year, month, and day in that order. 😉 I haven’t had any products that were defective per say just stuff I didn’t really have a use for.

        • You are correct. I remember checking and seeing the production date and expiration date, exactly as you stated.

        • Yes you are completely right about the dates

        • I have posted a comment on January box review page and I had the same thought on the dates. We have roughly 2.5 years to use it! I have seen it on a few Korean companies to date both manufacturing and expiring dates. I think that’s the way it should be everywhere for our safety.

  6. Lol it’s so funny because I saw this late last night and was sure I hated it but, looking at it again this morning and realizing what the products actually are and what they are worth made me feel ok with this box. Daddy was right, everything does look better after a good nights sleep! lol 😀

  7. Does the Lash Food look like a sample size to you guys? I’m on product overload and am considering cancelling this one. I’ve loved it, but its my most expensive sub (I have way too many) and I’m not sure how I feel about this month’s box?? I got to activate my Play by Sephora this month so I’m so excited about that, and I should likely dump one since I added that one. Ug! Decisions!

    • the lash food sample lasts pretty long (3 months?) I’ve received one before, and then i forgot about it after quite some time. As for results, it wasn’t as apparent while I was using it, and it started to kick in after 4-6 months.

    • The LashFood is a sample .017 fl oz.

  8. I actually giggled when I saw the spoilers. Just goes to show one persons trash is another’s treasure. I need Rapidlash-seemed too expensive. Got lash food. Been using an elf curler forever. Got a nice gold plated one. Wanted to try skinceutical-soo expensive and I searched for a sample. Got it. Etc. I’m thrilled!

  9. I’m ok with this box. I’m interested in ALL of the eye products as well (four??). The eyelash curler has got to be better than my ancient CoverGirl one lol….I don’t understand why they sent the shampoo last month and the conditioner this month though. Having both at once would be nice. I just had a baby so I appreciate all the help I can get right now. I don’t know if the shampoo actually helped regrowth, but my hair did look better on the days I used it so if nothing else, it seems to be a high quality shampoo.

  10. I think the February Beauty Fix box looks great! I’m glad I’m getting it this month.

  11. This box looks great – I am thrilled. I am so glad I kept this sub. I’m excited about all of it!

  12. I don’t know why everybody get so upset with this box! Every month it is worth way more than the sub price. The pur-lisse is $65 for full-size and that is a full-size bottle. I do think they send way too much hair loss product but, they send out some really expensive products that you would not be able to try normally. Not the best month but, still worth the money!

    • I don’t see the problem with this box ever.I get more than one sub a month(like most of us)It’s a great box that does not repeat products that the others are giving,or have sent already. As far as the shampoo goes…its really good!I am not thinning out,but I have always had fine hair..It pumps up your volume…safe if you color, makes your hair strong…..Keeps your hair strong..Why would we not want that?I myself, can’t use four to five pallets and various mini shadows up enough in a year…even with gifting…I end up with way too many lipsticks, shadow, liner…face scrub…bb creme…etc. This is the perfect box for variety.

    • I agree with Shannon and Kathy. I like that they are heavier on skincare/hair care side and usually delivers over $100 in value. I would like to get this box, but it is sold out unless you pay $10 more for one-time box. I have only subbed here and there since last year, but I have never seen current month being “sold out”. I am fine with “not for sale” sample of SkinCeutical as I don’t know where to get a free sample as I don’t have time to stop by a store to just get one or spend $$$ on their website to get samples. On the brighter side, maybe it is good to be sold out as I have purchased many boxes during the last couple of weeks.

  13. I love this box I don’t need the hair loss products right now but my husband does ?

  14. Every other Beauty Fix box is really good.

  15. So excited! I love the Purlisse eye serum and I am almost out! I am also excited about the eyelash curler, I’ve been needing a new one.

  16. I am not that thrilled with this box. I hope there are a few other things not listed here. I think it’s ironic that I just spent 500 ipsy points to get the small sample size of the pur-lisse Blue Lotus 4-in-1 Eye Adore Serum and now I will be getting a full size..I really hope it works! Ever since I started my business I have gotten really dark circles and bags under my eyes, it’s the first thing I notice now. I think this box looks more like something for an elderly lady with all the hair loss products and the other things in the last two boxes feels grandma-ish to me! I will be calling to cancel tomorrow.

    • OMG, I’m starting to get the dark eye circles and puffiness too.

I tried that Olay eye brightening serum we got in one of the Target boxes and it didn’t do squat for me. If anyone has any recommendations that have worked for you, I’d love to know!

      • I know you can’t please everyone, but whats wrong with products to maintain yourself..You don’t need to be grandma to want to keep your hair in your head…or to keep your eyes unpuffy…take care of yourself when you think you don’t need it,and you never will have problems….hence sunscreen.more boxes like beautyfix…will mean you will need less “make-up boxes” later on.

      • Tbh I’ve been using this Purlisse blue lotus eye serum for the past 6 weeks (I got it in another box). It has really improved my dark undereye circles. I don’t have puffiness, so can’t comment on that. I’m actually pretty happy to be receiving another one in this box so I can continue using it when my current one runs out. It’s a slow, gradual improvement, so be patient, but it does work. I look at photos of myself from a few months ago and compare them to recent photos of myself, and notice the improvement. The dark circles aren’t totally gone yet, but at least now, my undereye concealer can now totally cover them whereas before, nothing could cover them at all!

    • That Pur-Lisse eye cream is magic! I received the sample size in ipsy too, but I had also gotten a full size in Boxycharm several months ago. My under eye area has changed greatly from regular use. Far fewer fine lines and my dark circles, while not completely gone, are much lighter. I will be buying a full size when I am out…and I rarely drop that much cash on any beauty product!

      • Lol Wow I got a lot of replies 😀 I’m stoked that the Pur-Lisse is giving you results as I really need some..I’m also doing the Influenster L’Oreal Revitalift so that’s going to be added to the regimen. I haven’t really noticed any improvement yet but, I only started on about excited it’s my first VoxBox so I was blown away! But, yeah I’m a little excited for this box now..mine shipped a few days ago so hopefully it will be here soon! 🙂

  17. Email them that you would like to cancel OR call them to cancel 🙂

  18. Ugh I wish I had cancelled. Too bad because I loved last month. How do you cancel this sub anyways? There is no information on the account page.

    • You have to call them to cancel.

  19. I’m actually really looking forward to this box! I think beautyfix does a great job of including a wide variety of products. I am most looking forward to trying the conditioner along with the same branded shampoo from last month. The only thing I was disappointed in was the hairspray. For reference I am 34

  20. Not my favorite month for Beauty Fix, but appreciate the variety. But I guess I won’t worry about it since it’s apparently sold-out 😛

  21. UGHHH why didn’t I cancel. This month is awful jeebus

  22. So glad I cancelled this. What’s up with all of the revitalizing hair products as of late?

  23. I’m glad I cancelled.

  24. Good grief enough with the hair loss products! There are surely other hair concerns to address. It’s the same brand of shampoo from last month. We’re we supposed to hold on to it so we could legitimately test it? SMH. Seriously, I have thick, layered hair that reaches below my waist. I don’t need Rogaine. I don’t need hair loss enhancers. And I don’t need fake hair fibers. It’s a very specific hair concern that excludes a whole lot of subscribers. Overall there are no new brands in the box either. I’m all set with Nick Chavez stuff (and don’t like it at all), Glo Minerals liners and lipsticks, and come on, are they seriously sending us foil samples and ones “not for resale” again? Looks like they’re sending 2. Hands down this is the worst BeautyFix box to date. It’s going downhill steadily so I’m bailing out before I get a toupee and a banana clip.

    • A toupee and a banana clip?!?!?! LMAO!!!!!

    • Wish I had your hair and that I didn’t need this box (and all their previous hair loss items…).. Perhaps I’ll see these items up for swap, since no monthly subs are open right now. 🙁

      • I’m definitely not saying there’s no one who needs the items they send but rather that they need to mix it up. I’d say the same if they included a single category of any product and sent it exclusively each month. I would feel the same if every skin care item was geared solely toward treating eczema or roseacea. If they had advertised this aspect as a feature of the box that’s one thing but it was never billed as a hair loss treatment subscription. The items themselves comprise a lot of the value so if they’re useless to a subscriber, that’s money down the drain for me. I don’t sub to any box with the goal of handing out the contents like door prizes at a party; I actually want to use them myself. My theory is that with 3 ladies in our house, if no one can use an item it’s not particularly universal given our ages and varying needs. One hair loss product is fine. Two is pushing it but three or more in as many months is just too many. There are other hair volumizers they can send that aren’t clinical treatments.

      • You can still get this box even though there aren’t monthly subs open. You can buy it as a one-time purchase…it’s 34.95 instead of 24.95, but if you use the promo code FF16 it takes 20% off, making it $27.96. I have a BF sub but just bought another box…I bought it primarily for the Pur-Lisse eye serum (which is full size and costs $65!), but I also have thinning hair so will use the hair stimulating conditioner, as well as the Lash Food!

  25. This box does not make me want to resub. I just started using the pur-lisse eye serum from another box but don’t need another. Eyelashes are already naturally curled lol. I think The only items that interests me are the lip product and lash food. I’ve cut my subs down to boxycharm, Walmart and get the target box when I can.

  26. Glad I cancelled this.

  27. Website says monthly subs are sold out , you can just buy it for $34
    No thanks

  28. Looks terrible, wish I had cancelled.

    • Do you want to sell or swap your box? I’ll be honest-I want it mainly to try the eye serum and lash enhancer:)

      • The lash enhancer and eye serem is AMAZING! I just ran out of both, so this box is a win for me. About 6 months ago, I lost all of my lashes on my right eye, they were no growing. I used the lash product and my lashes are back, fuller than before.

        • Probably a coincidence – lashes came back naturally. External applications will not affect lash growing.

          • RapidLash works. So does Latisse (but it’s prescription). You can find pics and youtube videos of before/after using these products. I just finished a round of RapidBrow, documenting weekly progress pics, and it definitely worked. I was finally able to shape my brows how I desired. Just starting the RapidLash, and already seeing growth. I can’t comment on the brand in this box though.

  29. Pass. Easily. I’ll wait to see what the Boxycharm spoilers are.

      • Which products were expired? I got that box too

        • Supposedly, a lot of the subscribers got an expired bottle of the Tarantino primer. After reading all the reviews, I had to open mine( I don’t like opening products that I still have but had to make sure it wasn’t expired) and it was fine. You should check yours, just in case. I’ve read that they send out a replacement or give back a partial refund.
Also if you read liz’s review, the first few pumps of it should be a little weird in consistency. Just discard it.

          • My primer was totally rancid…marked for sephora which hadn’t carried it for three years and the applicator was broken inside the bottle. I notified them, but nothing has ever been resolved.

          • Is the Tarantino primer in the February box or a different one? I haven’t found any of my products to be expired.

          • Ok weird I just tried this last night before going out with my husband. And it smelled horrible so I looked to see if it was expired but couldn’t find anything but it was made by Sephora .So I hope this isn’t going to do something to me I have enough healt problems

          • Never mind I found it I hadn’t even opened or looked at it was buried in my makeup case. lol but, I’m not having any luck finding the date.
