According to Allure’s Twitter page there’s also a full sized L’oreal infallible two step lip color in the March box! Woohoo!

I received my Bonus Box yesterday. I was so excited that the box was full of all the products displayed for the Bonus Box. I’m so thrilled and happy with Allure. ??

Are all subscribers receiving the Red Carpet bonus box or just lucky ones? I’ve not received any kind of email or box. Just wondering because I’ve seen what others have posted about it and it looks great!

Still have not received Feb or bonus box yet. They take forever to get to NW. From tracking, they sit in nevada for a week before moving this way. My sis lives in SE and got hers a week ago. 🙁

not loving this one so far, signed up early feb, never got my box, so now after several calls, will get the March box which I am not loving, prob because I wanted the Feb one – and of course it is too late to cancel. i have heard good things, but I am disappointed so far

It took a couple weeks for my first box to ship too. If you have any questions about the status Allure has a great customer service team. When I called they were able to tell me exactly what box was coming and when. They’re great.

I’m willing to bet Allure is so successful because they are are an established brand that beauty companies trust – they can leverage the relationship with their box subscribers and the relationship with beauty brands (that they presumably are VERY familiar with because those companies advertise in the magazine) to benefit everyone. So they can market their customer base (us!) to companies launching new products since their subscriber list is exactly the target audience that these companies jump through hoops to try to reach – open minded women interested in trying and evaluating new beauty products. These subscription boxes end up being tremendous marketing tools for companies trying to get the word out about new products. For example, putting fold-out perfume samples in a magazine is very expensive for companies and I’m willing to bet only a small percentage of those sample are ever used by the readers. Most are probably thrown away. That’s money down the drain for beauty companies. But the Allure subscribers are all about using new products so it’s probably more cost effective for these companies to provide more substantial products to a more targeted audience, Allure subscribers (probably often for free to Allure!) than to advertise and sample their products to a larger, more diverse, and much less targeted or interested audience. Whatever it is, I love it! Everybody wins!!

Karen, thank you for the detailed response. I appreciate you taking the time. I REALLY want the Feb box!
I am really enjoying sub boxes – wish I could afford a lot more of them!

Diana

I got a box yesterday full of Covergirl, SK-II, and Wella products. I don’t think it’s my March box. I’m thinking it’s the bonus products they told us about in the email? I hope I still get the box posted above.

Thanks for posting, just got the same box and was confused by the quick arrival after the last one; it doesn’t say BONUS anywhere on the packaging, but since it’s neither Feb or March it must be a surprise extra!

Diana

I read in the comments for the Feb box that this is the bonus box. Nice bonus!

I received the shipping info last week with the delivery confirmation number and thought it was for another freebie bonus like the brush I received in January, but it was a chock-full “red carpet beauty” box ~ WOW! How does Allure do it? I was confused, too, initially, thinking it was a super-early March box, but then I remembered Liz’s spoilers for the March box, and reading others’ posts here confirms that it’s a bonus box.

Caitlin

I received a weird email from them last Wednesday. It said my box had shipped (I received my Feb box 2 weeks earlier), and it gave me a tracking number of ‘0’. I also received a couple of days after my Feb box a special gift from them (it was a Clarins lipstick). Not sure what is being sent me me this time… I never received any of the emails saying a bonus was coming my way.

Karen

I’m betting that’s the bonus box. I got the same “your box has shipped” email but I never received a previous email from them telling me I was getting a bonus box (which many people did receive). Well, that box arrived yesterday and it was indeed the bonus box (yay!) so I’m willing to bet you have a bonus box coming your way as well. I must say, it’s very hard not to be totally impressed with Allure when they do things like this! (I actually wrote them a thank you note!)

I had the SAME thing happen to me! Wondering if the people that got the bonus box got the same wonky email with that same tracking number of ‘0’. Wanna know if I should be expecting the bonus box also 🙂

hi Liz why i cant use the link to save 5?

Reply ButtonReply

Liz Cadman

Hm, I’m not sure what you mean? When I click the link I see the $5 off your first month messaging. What are you seeing? Sorry – I’ll try to figure this out!

Joyce

I was unable to get the $5.00 discount off of my first box too. The link you show has it but by the time I get to the place order page the discount is not included.

Hazelnutbreve

I remember being able to order an Allure box within the same month it shipped. Is that cut off date right? Is it a recent change?

Reply ButtonReply

Liz Cadman

Yes, I reached out to verify with them, I think the cut off dates are moving up as the boxes are getting more popular and selling out! Hope that helps! 🙂

Reply ButtonReply

Kay

I was wondering the same, so thanks Liz. If we want to cancel, do you also know the cut-off date to avoid getting charged?

Lisa

If anyone is on the fence, you should definitely go for it. I loved Allure before, but after receiving my bonus box, I’m in love with Allure. Thank you, Allure!! You’re the best!
