This box is entirely something I will use, and I think it followed the theme really perfectly, if you count the um and chappie as toss-in’s or don’t consider their $5 value total much.
The book is a beautiful little hardcover thing, I’ve been meaning to get her first book and I see little reason to put doing so off any longer. This is marked a companion guide, so it may be best to own the other first, unsure, but it was so popular it would have been far too risky to do the other or a set.
The face masks don’t get me riled up level exited, but they will get used, or will be given to my mother who is lovely sheet masks lately.
I haven’t opened and smelled each of the shower gels but they look nice as a kit, they will be great for my travel or simply great for a gift for someone if I need one, could remain gender neutral in my opinion (though I should smell first to decide that).
The bin is not something I’d grab myself, but is something I will gladly make use of, it appears nicely made to me and I always need things for organizing.
My one nitpick is that the planner is really more of a backup planner for me, it’s a very basic albeit cute one. I also can’t justify the use of things like my smartphone and more than one paper planner unless I can think of a specific thing to track or use this second planner for, it may be a better gifted item.
Even if the total value was lower than usual, it was still well worth the $39, and I liked the coherency of the theme and sticking to it. It was a clean box that made sense together and items were complimentary. They hit all their theme goals for the month for sure. The remaining gum and chappie are always things that are useful or easy to add to the gift drawer.
