A Brief History Of Time Travel Shirt - Value $10?

This month's exclusive shirt is a time travel geek's perfect timeline! We have actually received this shirt from Geek Fuel last January - so I was a bit surprised to see it again. It is a cool graphic, though!

Umbrella Enamel Pin - Value $10?

Getting ready to replay the origin story of Resident Evil on your next-gen console? Then get ready with this Umbrella Corporation pin!

Starlabs Coffee Mug - Value $10-15?

Another exclusive this month is this Starlabs Coffee mug! Very cool! Ditch your Starbucks mug and show your support for Barry Allen and Starlabs!

8 Bit Breath Savers & Collectible Tin - Value $5?

I'm assuming these are also exclusives since I can't seem to find them online. You could have received either Mario of Link tins, and I'm so happy I got Mario! I love the tin, and I wish it was a bit deeper so I could use it to store items other than the mints!

Here are the little brick-shaped mints.

Metro Warp Steam Game - Value $10

This month's game is Metro Warp.

Metro Warp is a 3D puzzle game about guiding oblivious pedestrians who can only turn left. Place obstacles in front of these predictable commuters, and help them find the exits in 50 mind-melting floating worlds, where up is down and down is sideways.

It looks pretty cool from the preview video, and also supports Oculus, but I could see myself getting dizzy from this game in VR! Also, yay for Mac support!

Jakku Comic Con Poster - Value $10-15?

This is a cool poster! Although I'm still in the "anything from Star Wars is great" mindset. I love the design with Finn, Rey, and BB-8 - inside a BB-8 head outline.

geek-fuel-january-2016-contest

There was also a contest this month, with the grand prize being a Flash prize pack that includes an X-Box One. Sadly, I didn't win!

Bonus Shirt

I actually ended up getting a bonus shirt this month for being a subscriber since December 2014! That was nice to find in the box!

Verdict: This month was pretty good for Geek Fuel. It kind of felt like it was missing that one big ticket item, though. That being said, I'm a big fan of the shirt, mug, and game! Geek Fuel has done an amazing job with contests recently too, I think they've been fun to check if you're a winner, and they're well done - I only hope to win one someday!

Mine was actually missing the pin! lol I got the box it was supposed to be in but it was empty. I just didn’t feel it was worth going after them to get a replacement. Like other commenters here, I’m on the edge of canceling my sub as it is. One more month and we’ll see….

That shirt must have time travelled from the past to get to this box.

Geek Fuel has really not been good lately. This month it didn’t even seem as if they tried. They included the exact same shirt they already gave us this time last year, another weak shirt with their logo on it, and then a bunch of filler items. I don’t know if this is a sign that they’re going out of business soon, or if they’re just coasting. Either way, this is not good coming from a sub box I once really liked.

That shirt is cool but it’s wrong! Terminator came out in 1984, before Back to the Future and Bill and Ted. It was the second Terminator that came out in 1991.

I signed up for Geek Fuel’s Box because they stated that Resident Evil was going to be featured this month. Being a huge Resident Evil Fan, I was so excited. Then I got my box and all I received was the pin. Needless to say I was saddened by this. I went on their page to express my disappointment and some guy started arguing with me and then Geek Fuel starting arguing with me. Mind you, I said nothing mean to this guy and all I said was if he was getting this box specifically for Resident Evil then he was going to be disappoint. Geek Fuel threatened to ban me after that. I have never seen such unprofessionalism in my life. I am really sad I gave them any of my money.
