Scentbird recently released a men's monthly cologne subscription.
Scentbird was "Born out of frustration with the "perfume graveyard" - expensive bottles of designer perfume collecting dust on your dresser or cabinet - Scentbird was created to provide an alternative that is both practical and exciting."
This subscription is paid for by My Subscription Addiction. For more information regarding our subscription box process, please read this post.
Subscription: Scentbird for Men
Cost: $14.95/month for 1 .8 ml of designer fragrance
Shipping: Free
Ships to: US only - but they state that they hope to expand soon.
Scentbird includes a twist up perfume atomizer with your first shipment. You can order additional atomizers on their website for an additional fee. You're supposed to be able to pull each glass vial out of the atomizer to replace it each month. I can't figure it out...which might be because I'm too tired to think!
January's cologne of the month is Eau de Cartier Concentree. Scentbird describes the fragrance as astonishing freshness with a green, leafy nature. The vibrant and inherently masculine combination of green leaves, nutmeg, amber, patchouli, and musk provide a sense of well-being and pleasure.
This month, I chose Armani Code for my monthly cologne. It's my husband's go to scent, so I figured we would start with that one!
The Verdict: This is my first month with Scentbird, and I was excited to get the first shipment! The atomizer seems like it is great quality, if I could ever get it open to swap it out. As far as value goes, I think it definitely breaks even this first month, and it will be dependent on the cologne you choose in your queue. I'm excited to continue with this subscription so we can try out a few new men's colognes!
