Juneberry Subscription Box Review December 2015 - info

The theme for this month's Juneberry box is "Cute 'n' Cozy." It's the perfect theme for December!

Juneberry Subscription Box Review December 2015 - cocoa

Hot Chocolate - Value $2

(I'm taking their word for it on the value listed for these.) The info card says, "Everyone loves hot chocolate!" I love the idea of hot chocolate, but not so much the taste. Does that make me a weirdo? Anyway, the kids love hot chocolate, so they will appreciate this.

Mug Cozy - Value $9

I've never had a mug cozy before. I love that it's hand-knit!

Never Cuter Hair Bow - Value $12

This is totally perfect for December! I've been doing a lot more with my hair these days thanks to subscription boxes, and I think I might actually see if I can pull this accessory off at church on Christmas.

Hearts of Gold Bracelet - Value $11

This little bracelet is adorable, but it's not exactly my style. I think my niece will absolutely love it, though! Into her gift bag, it goes!

Plaid Scarf - Value $20

I wish you could feel how amazingly soft this scarf is! It's also huge and seriously cozy. Plus the plaid print makes it ideal for the season. This would make an amazing gift, but it's so soft I kind of want to keep it for myself. Decisions, decisions...

The Verdict: When I think of Juneberry, one of the words that comes to mind is "sweet". It feels like someone who actually cares about me sent me a lovely gift package. For that reason, and because of the very reasonable subscription price, I think this would make a wonderful gift subscription for a loved one. The stated value of the items is $54, which is great for a $28.50 box. I am really enjoying this subscription because I can always count on getting some nice treats from Juneberry!

I like the scarf but once again, how does any of these items “empower women”? It’s like someone heard a term on the internet and thought “How can I capitalize on this?” lol. I laugh but I’m also being serious. Especially when they include a horrible company like Nestle.

“Empowering women” – more like empowering themselves lol.

I love the scarf! It arrived just before we got hit with a below-zero cold snap, so I’ve been wearing it constantly. I put the bow in a gift bag I put together for the little girl who walks Oberon, and according to her mom she’s been wearing it every day :). I had the same problem with the bracelet breaking at a place other than the clasp, but my fix-it hubby was able to, well, fix it. So far, it’s stayed together.

This box feels cheap to me and not well curated. I think I could get these items at the 5 below store.

I agree the scarf is so soft. I gifted it to my mom who absolutely loved it. My bracelet wouldn’t open when I tried to put it on my daughter’s wrist. The bracelet actually snapped in another location and is not fixable. ?
