Horror Block Subscription Box Review + Coupon November 2015 - shirt

Dracula Shirt – Value $10?

This month’s shirt is an homage to, probably, the most famous vampire of them all. I like the style/graphic for this shirt – and I appreciate that it’s not a mash-up, they don’t all have to be mash-ups!

Horror Block Subscription Box Review + Coupon November 2015 - sharknado Hoff

Sharknado David Hasselhoff Bobblehead – $15.57 on Amazon

This is a 7″ bobblehead of The Hoff with his Hoffsaw 3000 ready to take on some sharks! This might be the biggest bobblehead I’ve received in a box! It takes up most of the room in the box and seemed to have taken some damage to the box in shipping. But, that’s ok, I’m sure my brother will tear it out of the box immediately anyways.

Horror Block Subscription Box Review + Coupon November 2015 - towel and springz

Cleaning Cloth – Value $5?

This is an exclusive Horror Block item. It’s a bloody towel, and the first thing I thought of was Dexter!

Springz: Twilight Zone Mystic Seer – Value $5-10?

I grew up on, and love, The Twilight Zone – so this really cool! While I don’t have a need for anymore dashboard car accessories, I think I’ll be keeping this around on my desk.

Horror Block Subscription Box Review + Coupon November 2015 - rue morgue and teddy bear girl autograph

December 2015 Rue Morgue – Value $9.95

As always, the most recent copy of Rue Morgue.

Print/Autograph of Addy Miller – Value ?

Our last item is also an exclusive item! It’s a hand-signed print of Teddy Bear Girl from The Walking Dead! She appeared in the pilot episode, and now I want to re-read all the comics and watch the pilot!

Verdict: I wasn’t too excited while unboxing this month’s Horror Block. I like receiving the bobblehead and the autograph, but those are both going to be gifted. Everything else was a bit mediocre for me this month, so I’m hoping they will finish the year strong with their December block!

  1. I love the Dracula shirt, Rue Morgue magazine and the autograph. The rest of the box is not horror. Sharknado 3 — really? If you think Sharknado is horror, then I will cancel my future blocks.

  2. this was the FIRST box that i didn’t give away/swap a single item !!
    LOVE !!

  3. I’m not into Hasselhoff or those dashboard springs at all. I guess they’ll go to swap..

  4. I ordered this box for the Sharknado item and the Twilight Zone item. My brother loves Sharknado and finds everything David Hasselhoff does to be awesome and hilarious, so I’m thrilled with the bobble head.

The twilight zone item is kind of boring. I don’t watch The Walking Dead anymore, but I think the autograph is a great inclusion.

  5. Oh. My.Gosh. I need to find that print!!!!!

  6. I’m pretty sure they do so many mash-ups to avoid intellectual property issues…it is interesting to see what they come up with sometimes. But yeah, if I was into these sorts of boxes, I would probably want a non-mash-up one sometimes too.
