Each box comes with a card detailing the items included with pictures.

beauty-fix-dec-2015-brush

Harry Josh Pro Tools Mini Oval Brush – Value $25

I have the larger Harry Josh brush, and it's a quality item, so I'm happy to get a travel sized version too. Here it is in my hand to give a better sense of scale:

beauty-fix-dec-2015-brush-scale

beauty-fix-dec-2015-foot-patrol

Bliss Foot Patrol – FULL SIZE! Value $18

(Good to know for swaps - has inner foil seal)

This foot cream has a refreshing minty scent, and I'm not sure if this is a new formula, but online this product has parabens in the ingredients, but it's not on the ingredient list of the actual product.

LaLicious Weightless Hand Cream in Sugar Reef - .23 oz Value $1.40

(Subscribers will receive either Sugar Kiss, Sugar Reef or Sugar Coconut)

(Good to know for swaps - has inner foil seal)

This is a tiny sample for a hand cream! I like the scent, and the formula is lightweight, so at least I will get a few uses out of it!

beauty-fix-dec-2015-lip

glominerals Suede Matte Stick in Pinup – FULL SIZE! Value $16

This lipstick goes on smoothly without the drying effect that some matte lipsticks can have. I like the formula, but the color is a little too orange-red for me. (Swatched below)

VBeaute Lip Spread Anti-Age Hydrating Lip Gloss in Distraction - FULL SIZE! Value $19

(Subscribers will receive either Distraction or Kinky)

This formula is paraben, fragrance and gluten free! It adds color and a TON of shine without any stickiness! Swatched below on the right:

beauty-fix-dec-2015-serum

Toppik Hair Fattener Advanced Thickening Serum - 1 oz Value $5.30

I feel like BeautyFix sends more hair thickening products than the typical beauty subscription box! I wasn't expecting too much from this product, but decided to give it a try. (It works on both dry or damp hair). It's a gel that you distribute from root to tip. The directions don't specify how much to use, so I went with 2 pumps of the gel, and applied it throughout my hair. It's fragranced, but the scent fades quickly (and smells pretty good too). I noticed a lift in hair volume without any stickiness or any other feeling that made me feel like I was wearing hair product, so I'm happy. I'll probably add this to my hair routine. (And it is sulfate free and safe for color treated hair).

beauty-fix-dec-2015-skyn

skyn ICELAND Hydro Cool Firming Face Gel for Smile Lines - Value $4.40

I've tried the eye patches before, but these smile lines gels are new to me! I like that skyn products are free of parabens, sulfates, phthalates, fragrance, dye, etc. (And they are vegan too!) I decided to wear these while writing this review, and I'm pleased with the results. (I noticed a subtle difference in my smile lines after taking them off). One thing to keep in mind while wearing these - you can't talk/smile/etc. while wearing them!

Vichy LiftActiv Serum 10 - 3 ml Value $4.50

This serum is paraben-free and leaves my skin super smooth. I would have loved a larger sample, though.

Dermalogica AGE Smart Skin Perfect Primer SPF 30 – 7 ml Value $15.50

I wasn't expecting this primer to be tinted. It looks dark in the tube compared to my skin tone, but I was able to blend it in completely. And like a good primer, it provides a pretty much flawless smooth finish. And this is actually a decent sized sample since the full sized version is only .75 oz.

Verdict: This box has a value of about $109. I think BeautyFix almost always delivers a great value compared to the cost, and I appreciate the variety of items this month, and most of the sample sizes are good too! My favorite items are the brush, the lipgloss, the foot cream, the primer and the hair serum. (For some reason, my favorite items tend to be full-size, high-value items! 😉 )

I received the lip gloss in “Kinky”. It’s a bright pink that I love but wish I had both since it’s such a good lip gloss with a lot of pigment! The Vichy Serum is amazing, definately going to buy it in full size. I used my smile line patches for my under eyes and liked the feeling and results.

I so loved this new box. I waited to read comments and watch the reviews and that helped in my decision to subscribe. There’s so many products I wanted to try but didn’t want to pay full price so this is an excellent way to try different products.

The intro deal is only for the first box, but you can cancel at anytime 🙂

Just got mine today and I love, love the items I did try: the brush feels so good!, the lip gloss reminds me of Clinique’s Black Honey which is a fave, and I just put my hubby to sleep rubbing his feet with the Bliss foot spa and I can’t wait to try the rest of the items. I consider that a win!

I subscribed earlier this week. When I checked my account it leads me to believe it’s half off every month. This is the note on my account:
You will be charged $12.50, plus applicable sales tax, every 30 days for BeautyFIX subscription until canceled by you. You will be charged in the method you have selected for payment.
For the amount of items I received and the value that’s way better that BB. Plus I like the items in the box. I usually end up listing my BB items on the MSA swap site.

Hi Heather,

I’m thinking that’s a typo because the first box is half which is the $12.50 and then the second box and from there on is $24.99. I probably wouldn’t say anything yet just wait and see what your billed for next month but, don’t be surprised if it’s charged the full $24.99. Hope that helps! 🙂

Heather

Trust me I plan to check. Either way it’s a great box. Loved everything in it. 🙂

May

When do you have to cancel by before you get billed/charged?

Reply ButtonReply

Kiki

Hi May, I’m not super sure on that but I went and looked at my visa and I got billed for Decembers box on the 5th of this month so I’d say it’s safe to assume you need to cancel by the end of the previous month. Hope that helps! 🙂

I just subscribed to this box & got my box today. I’m a little confused on my order sheet it says free sample & my December box with a total of 2 items & this “free sample” even has an item number but all that’s in the box is the samples that are shown above. Am I missing something? I’m very confused & new to this sub any help will be appreciated

Flubs

I think you’re missing them because when I had this subscription, I always got my samples. Email them like other person said and I’m sure they’ll send them right over since their CS seems pretty reliable.

Jodi

My invoices always say that as well and I never got any samples. the first time it happened I emailed them and they sent them out to me. It was 2 foil packets…I never even cared after that…lol

Lina

Still the best box I subscribe to–even if a product doesn’t work for you, they are giftable/swapable, and the value and variety is always pretty awesome.

You can also unsubscribe by emailing. You get a canned “we will get back to you in 24-48hrs” and then I get am email stating they cancelled my account. Just make sure you do it before they charge you for next month’s.

I love beauty fix. Its one of my favorite subs

How hard is it to cancel? I like this box but not sure if I want a long term sub with this one…

Reply ButtonReply

Jessica M.

The only way to cancel is to call, which I hate. But when I canceled before they only asked for a reason and didn’t try any pushy sales tactics like other places do (Fabkids!!!!). I would totally resubscribe for the right box.

JillA

You can cancel via their Live Chat feature.

Ragan

I think I’ve done it by email too. And called. (I’ve canceled and resubscribed a couple of times over the past year.) My standard “reason” for canceling any box is financial difficulties (whether or not it happens to be true at the time…).

Laura

Easy to cancel – I emailed and they confirmed my cancellation within 24 hours (and no “mistakenly billed later scenario either” for me).

Thanks Laura!

Kay

I received the same color/scent for lip gloss and hand cream as Liz. I am excited to try the brush. Foot cream is a nice change in beauty boxes. While I will gift the lip products that are too bold, they make great gifts as most of them are full size products.

This is one of my favorite boxes. I have a ton of products piled up right now , so I’m taking a break , but this one is one of my favorites. I have this months and I was really pleased with it.

Reply ButtonReply

Jen

I assume that’s just for 1 month and not every month? Thanks

Jenn

So happy I subscribed! Loved November and December boxes – really think it is worth the price!

Reply ButtonReply

Karen

I thought this was a terrific box with many potential new discoveries. I’m not a huge fan of the teeny-tiny samples but the full size quality products more than make up for that. The box is worth the price…even at full price.

Khaleesi142

Alright Beauty Fix, you’re going in my shopping cart 🙂 This is actually one of my favorite subs because of the curation and value ?

Reply ButtonReply

Kiki

I ended up with 2 of these boxes because they made a mistake so I’m not complaining. I just wish the makeup especially the Vbeaute would have been in the color you’re posting I got both tubes in a bright pink & I probably won’t wear the other lipstick either as I’m not a fan of reds. I was really happy to see the Vichy Liftactiv Serum10 because, I’ve read really good things about it plus I got two..I actually got 2 October boxes and 2 December boxes because I won a box too. Killer deals! Can’t wait to see what’s in January’s box. 🙂

I got this box. It’s great for the intro price, but I wouldn’t be happy with it for the full price. Perhaps if they hadn’t had such great boxes from Feb to June I’d feel differently, but in comparison to those, this just doesn’t cut it. That said, I do love the brush which is why I got it.
