Les Nombres d’Or – Musc by Mona Di Orio – Full Size 3.4oz – Value: $230.00
Top Note: Neroli, Rose
This was my favorite scent this month. It’s very feminine and I love how it wears on me. Truthfully, this I thought I’d like this the least, but it smells great on me. It is potent, so three sprays max, don’t over do it.
Diamond Jubilee by Grossmith – Full Size 1.7oz – Value: $295.00
Top Note: Narcissus, Citruses
This was my least favorite fragrance this month. But I can’t pin-point why. My instinct says the Narcissus is to blame. I suffer from allergies and something about this makes my sinuses tingle and turns my nose sour. This is the only vial I couldn’t finish and plan on passing along to a friend. But don’t get me wrong…this smells nice, but I am personally having adverse reactions to the ingredients. This could very be the “IT” scent for someone else.
Cotton Musk by Raymon Monegal – Full Size 1.7oz – Value: $185.00
Top Note: Gardenia, Rose
By default, my second favorite fragrance this month. It’s very feminine and bedroom appropriate without being too graphic. LOL. I guess it really makes sense that I say this because the Bass note is Incense and I can smell that burnt sweetness that it leaves behind. I really enjoyed it.
Verdict: This is my second box from Scent Trunk and even though I had one fragrance fail, I enjoyed the experience and learned that my allergies can be triggered even thru perfumes. I still would like to see at least one more vial added per month. I like to put the vial I’m wearing that day in my purse so that I can reapply during the day if needed. If you like trying new perfumes you don’t see everyday, I would suggest giving this subscription a try.
