  1. They just announced some restocks on the Golden Tote Facebook Trading Group:

    On Thursday, Nov. 5th at 10am PST, we will restock the following items:
    – Puella Striped Swing Dress
    – Floral Frock
    – Star Crossed Dress
    – Season Change Dress
    – Embroidered Snowflake Sweater
    – Black Jeggings

  2. I just logged on and was able to easily pick up the trouser jeans and cargo skinny jeans and added the rust colored skinny jeans in my size. I was bummed…the bomber jacket and the moto are all sold out in my size!!! πŸ™ I have tried and tried to get one of the moto jackets that I’m at the point where I might try to find one like it online in a different brand or maybe even the same brand if possible. Knowing my luck I’ll finally get one and it won’t fit!!! LOL!!!! I love tote day…but I hate tote day!!! It’s so frustrating!!!

  3. I think GT has been running great. I was in and out in 4 min. I’m sorry some can’t find things they want, but GT can’t alwau predicted what is going to sell out until it’s launched. Take the ear muffs, they sold out fast! Who would have guessed that one?

    Also they are limited to what designers have in stock. Not everything is within their control. GT uses a lot of the same brands as stitch fix and other clothing boxes.

    The new profile options are great, I’ve bern getting fun totes.

    Also they will be restocking and having a special Black Friday sale. With new items and gift sets. Guess I’m just a huge fan of GT and the nice people there.

  4. It was really easy for me this month and I got the camel coat and the restocked moto hooded jacket in large. The coat was really all I wanted this round and I felt it was a bonus that the jacket was restocked. In the last two months, I admit I was frustrated and ordered either later in the day or a late month tote (when there were restocks) with no problems of course. But I missed out on the large anorak which is an awesome coat by the way. I am hoping a restock in large comes out. I have it in medium which I am going to return because its too small for me (I was hoping either it would fit or I could trade for a large – so far no luck). This month since the coats go so fast, I decided to try it for the camel coat.

  5. First time in months I forgot it was tote day and wasn’t logged in and ready to go right at noon and of course the dress I really wanted is gone in my size 45 minutes later. Boo!! Seriously, they know Puella dresses in md & lg are going to go like hot cakes as do jackets and jeans. Stock more!!! I guess I’ll wait and see if it comes back…

    • Don’t lose hope! I missed out on the moto hooded jacket in September and lo and behold! It was available in large this morning – so I snagged it and the camel jacket. They are now stocking more regularly. I think Puella, there is a good chance, since its their brand.

  6. This was my first tote in almost a year. I was just so over all of the fit/quality issues and I ended just spending so much on trading it stopped making sense. But one gem from the site is the Justblack brand of jeans so I splurged on a large tote with those and the military jacket from a past month. I have to say I loved the new site but since I ordered before the 9am sale that’s probably why it went so smoothly! Here’s hoping for better surprises that last more than one wear πŸ˜‰

  7. I’ve taken a break from Golden Tote. There are way too many issues with the website and the more popular it gets the less you are apt to get the things you want. I just don’t understand why they will not have more of the items that they know are going to be popular and have them readily available. Also the last two reveals haven’t really excited me that much. I do however look at the popular items and look for something similar elsewhere. The process of purchasing has just become tedious and it’s nearly impossible to get all your picks even if you log on as soon as the site is active. I do understand that this is just a huge flash sale for clothing but they need to either have more options of popular items or offer more of that item. My frustration rant is over lol. I will pick up again with Golden Tote when they get their issues worked out.

    • The website was the best ever and I feel they have ironed out a lot of problems. As for quality issues, my totes from September and October are some of the best in a long time. I finally got the fit issues right and the quality of the items I received are good. I just have too much clothing now. I think they do better in fall and winter.

      Also they have been restocking fairly regularly and trying to notify people via e-mail and their facebook trading group. I stumbled upon the moto hooded jacket which I was so bummed to miss out on in September.

      However, you probably saved a lot of money and closet space!

  8. Super excited for this month! I logged on at 9am and I had absolutely no issues at all with the website this month with ordering a large tote, add-on, and scarf from the boutique. I was done in 2-3 minutes max. Worlds of difference from a few months ago when there were errors galore.

  9. Got my first tote and both items I wanted easily right at Noon EST. I think I might just go for things that aren’t super popular amongst the larger crowd. Got the black jeggings in 26 and the grey fringe cardigan in small.

  10. Agreed. The site is too frustrating. I actually find holding the items in other people’s carts is more annoying than having the item sell out while checking out. It wastes too much of my time having the pop ups constantly asking if I want to buy items only to have them be reserved already by the time I click “add to cart.” They should do a waitlist like Amazon does for their lightning deals. I feel like that would be more efficient. Or you know, stocking enough items to meet demand would work too. I won’t be buying anything from them until they fix this issue.

    • I couldn’t agree more!!! They know the jeans and jackets will sell out and I would think they’d want money!!! Why wouldn’t you stock more of those and less of the weird pattern tops and funky shaped dresses?

  11. It took me SO LONG to get my two totes configured! Everything was “in someone else’s tote” and I went in at straight up 9am (11am my time!) I ended up getting one of the dresses in a medium (hope it fits–i’m a medium with a curvy bottom, so it might be up for swap!), and the coat in a medium, which I hope fits! Everything was GONE or in someone else’s tote in my size it felt like. Then, it took FOREVER for things to load. You could tell the site was severely jammed! I got two totes with the Favorite Fringe Cardigan, Puella Stripped Swing Dress, Floral Frock, and Classic Camel Coat. Here’s hoping it all fits! If anyone gets a LARGE and it’s too big in the coat, I would LOVE to swap for it! πŸ™‚

  12. I’m so over this whole thing…everything I select gets taken out of my shopping cart immediately following adding it….why bother? There’s no point to it all until they fix these issues.

    • Hm, what a bummer. That’s never happened to me and I’ve ordered many totes over the past year… maybe you need to clear out the cache on your browser? Or contact their CS?

      • No, it’s not an issue with my connection or cache. It’s their website. I’m not the only one this has happened to. I don’t understand the basic stocking systems and the website will show they have something and then when you click add to cart is says it’s out of stock…why show the size and/or product is in stock when indeed it’s sold out? They have some bugs to work out and I will wait…not patiently, but I’ll wait.
