I have resisted this one up to now because I do not want to pay the $9.50 shipping . In the past a couple of the spoilers almost got me and then when I saw the box, I wished I had bitten. This time I think I will give it a shot. The Bill Murray spoiler was the decider for me. My husband is a big fan of him. We like all of the other franchises/series mentioned, so I have my fingers crossed that this will be a good box for us.

I am so SO tempted by this. Star Wars AND Firefly??? And Sherlock to boot?
But I always find myself disappointed by these geek boxes because I just have no actual use for anything they include. I don’t wear t-shirts (they look awful on me.) I rarely enjoy toys. I have zero interest in the Funko Pops or anything along those lines. I don’t really like anything with a logo. Prop replicas are cool, but there’s rarely anything I can DO with them. The Firefly money from a while back was really neat, but then what do I do with it? Stick it in a drawer? The *occasional* plush is okay as long as it’s well done and funny/cute. (Cthulhu plush? Yes, please!) There are only so many keychains one can use in a lifetime.
It’s so frustrating. I get all excited for my box and my fandoms, but am always bored by most of what I get. So I have to resist the urge to buy these tempting geek boxes!
Am I being a stick in the mud?

no i kinda agree except I have friends I can gift a lot of items to 🙂 but yeah I am noticing my subs to these boxes diminishing. I wish there was a Cosplay accessory sub or a replica/ adult figure only sub… and let me clarify adult figure as in higher end realistic not funko not dorbz maybe something you can display as an adult in your house with out friend raising an eyebrow because you don’t have kids.
