The offer is still available, but the code WELCOME30 makes the 6-months subscription only 20 dollars cheaper, not 30 as it used to

Has anyone else had problems with customer service? I bought the Gilt City deal and had a problem switching from monthly to the annual subscription. I called them twice and both times it said no representatives were available and offered for you to leave a message but then hung up on me. I emailed them on Friday and got an automated response that said they would reply within 48 hours but its been 4 days now and nothing. Any ideas?

So I’ve been trying a lot of sub boxes on & off but I had to think- do I want this for a whole year? I only got the $25 off… but that still makes each box $10.41each. I like it much better than the other $10/mo boxes so I’M IN! Yay!! If I like & use just one or two products- it’s worth it. Right? And those boxes are the best for giving gifts (so luxe). So, here’s to hoping we all have amazing GB experiences with this super deal!

Random question but if I wanted my first box to be the December box, when would I have to order? ‘Cause I’ve heard they have a problem with late shopping and whatnot but I just want to make sure I don’t start with the November box (as I didn’t like it much).

We have until Feb to cash in the voucher- so I would wait until Dec 1– but maybe start checking via the link Gilt sent with the voucher to see what the first box will be (they may transition it over earlier than Dec 1). That’s my plan at least since my sub ended this month and I don’t want two Nov boxes if I can help it

This is interesting. Did anyone at all get the offer at Halloween?? I received an email stating that you could get the Glossybox for $14.70 per month indefinitely. I jumped on this deal, I have been wanting to try and this was the perfect offer to do so. I also wonder though if I cancel at any time that offer will be revoked? But it is a great offer while signed up. I was just curious to know if anyone else may have received this?

Yep, I debated whether to get the 6- or 12-month. Over the weekend it gave me the full 30% off for either option when I had them in my cart, but today (when I decided to go with the 6-month), it capped it at $25 off. That really annoys me, but it’s not GlossyBox’s fault (and it’s still a good deal overall for the 6 month sub). Therefore, before buying the 6-month sub, I decided to refer myself to GiltCity by sending an invite email to another one of my email addresses, which gives $25 off to my “new” Gilt account/email and then credits my current Gilt account $25 for my referral. So using my new account, I only got $25 off the 6-month sub, but my old/current Gilt account also has a $25 credit now to apply to another deal when it comes along.

Yeah, same issue here. I had it in my cart and saw the price didn’t add up and checked here to see everyone that tries it how is having this issue. I was ready to give Glossybox another chance too!

I tried when this was first posted and 12 months was sold out. AND I got the paypal error, so i just said screw it. Then the next day they emailed to say it went through. ¯ \_(ツ)_/¯

I tried the WELCOME30 and it was only giving $25 off. And I called their customer service and they said they put a cap on the amount of money you get off. It’s only $25 off

I was able to use the promo code and I got $45 off. Really looking forward to trying this out. I may cancel ipsy, especially if I can get the Macy’s box, but I really like the little cosmetic bags that come with ipsy.

Thanks for the reminder, Liz. Does anyone know if you can add six months at this price onto an already existing sub (which expires in March) or is it only for first-timers? thanks in advance!

You don’t have to be a first-timer (I bought the year and I’ve had Glossybox for over a year). But you can’t add the months onto an existing sub. If you attempt to use the voucher to add months to the same account, what you’ll get is duplicate boxes for the overlapping months.
