Gwynnie Bee is a clothing rental subscription service for women sizes 10-32. I have been intrigued with their concept for a while because I think plus-sized clothing is sorely underserved in the subscription box market. I have been really happy to have an opportunity to try them out!

Gwynnie Bee kindly invited me to try their service for review purposes. (Check out the review process post to learn more about how we review boxes).

KIYONNA - Pretty In Print Wrap Top In Magenta Floral

I think Kiyonna's tops are among the most flattering for plus sized women. This was cute and comfortable to wear.

BB DAKOTA - Margot Capelet

I selected this because I don't think I've ever worn a cape before, and unfortunately, that statement is still true. The main reason is because it still hasn't been cold enough here to warrant anything warmer than a light jacket! But when I was contemplating where and how I could wear this, I just couldn't come up with anything. It has an elegant cut but a lumberjack print. Ideas?

ROBBIE BEE - Side Tie Dress In Fall Watercolor

This dress was really comfortable, and I liked the way it fit a lot. Plus the colors were perfect for fall!

ISABEL + ALICE - Scarf Printed Asymmetric Handkerchief Top

This top was kind of cute on, but the colors are so loud! I like psychedelic prints, but this one was a little jarring for me.

JETE - Painterly Printed A-Line Dress

This was my favorite item all month! I love this shade of purple, and the print was just beautiful! It also had a great cut, and the V-neck was perfect - open, but not revealing. I wanted to keep it, but it was a little out of my price range at the moment. I hope it shows up in the shop some time!

ISABEL + ALICE - Pop Floral Printed Blouse

This top was pretty and comfortable, but the print and the cuffed sleeves were just way too matronly. Additionally, the neckline was a little plunging. It was an odd combination.

The Verdict: Gwynnie Bee is so fun! It's become a regular part of my monthly wardrobe rotation, and I couldn't be happier! I wear almost everything they send (ideal or not), so I feel like I have a never-ending wardrobe. I think it's also cut down on my spending as far as clothing goes, which is great because I tire of items quickly. I'm a big fan of Gwynnie Bee!

So, does this work like Netflix….you can get more than one piece each month but only 1 at a time? (Meaning, package shows up on Wednesday, you wear it, send it back Friday, and they send something else on Monday, etc.?)

I just signed up for the free month and the package was literally sitting on my doorstep 3 days later! I can’t wait to wear something. This came at the perfect time, so I don’t have to worry about finding something to wear for Thanksgiving! 🙂

I had the capelet and the Robbie Bee this month too! I kept the capelet 🙂 I’m going to wear it as outerwear during the not so cold part of the winter here in the south 🙂
