Emily Cromwell Hand Lettered Fall Card – Value: $4.50

I love this card! It’s funny and really cute. I’m going to send this to one of my best friends this week!

Different Lens Designs Teal Button Necklace – Value: $12.37

This necklace is really pretty, I think. I love the silver hardware and the blue button is an attractive pattern.

1LoveCandles Coconut Butter Lotion Candle – 2 oz? value: $5

This candle smells amazing, and it’s one that you can melt and pour onto skin for lotion or a massage! I love that it’s all natural and made with soy wax. (Also, FYI, this brand has their own candle subscription!)

Earth Cookie Creations Lace Hoop – value: $6

I think this little hoop could be a pretty décor touch and I think it’s made well. Unfortunately, it’s not something I’ll use for myself, so this will be gifted or swapped!

It’s Lovely Co 25% Coupon

I haven’t tried this brand of beauty/skincare products, but they have a couple of things that look interesting – I especially appreciate that their products are all-natural.

Verdict: This month’s Dottie Box was a win for me! Aside from the lace hoop, I love everything! As far as value goes, everything adds up to $27.87, which just breaks even with the price of the box shipped. I wish the value were higher, but I’m not too bummed since I’m happy with the items.

Is each month similar? I thought there was a lace thingy, card, candle, necklace etc. in the October box.

Um so what exactly is happening with this box?! Things are getting a bit random. I will need to see a step up in quality, size and value of items by the end of the year. A bit more curation.

I have yet to receive a lotion candle in a sub box! The card looks fun.

I finally cancelled Dottie a month ago. The items are always nice, but I found that I rarely had use for more than maybe half of the items included. I love handmade things, it’s just such a hodgepodge, I guess, that most boxes won’t be a 100% win so I allocated my sub box dollars to something different for a while. Thinking of going back to Dottiebox Mini, though!

Was considering as a gift subscription for my daughter (a teenager), but the boxes look very similar–does each month have a card, candle, necklace etc? I thought October’s had the same types of item–though maybe the color/design varied a bit.
