Crabtree & Evelyn Verbena and Lavender Bath and Shower Gel – 50 ml Value $6

I like this scent! It is fresh, and I think would work as a unisex scented product.

Kevin Murphy Anti-Gravity Oil Free Volumiser – 40 ml Value $7.60

This was the item in the box I was most excited to try. (I feel like I'm on a never-ending search for the ultimate hair volumizing product). This hair serum is a cross between a gel and a cream and it has a nice lavender scent. I tried it on dry hair, and I was happy with the results - a little extra volume. I'm guessing if I follow the instructions and apply with to damp hair and then blow-dry, I'll like the results even more.

L’Occitane Divine Youth Oil - 4 ml Value $14

Wow - this stuff is over $100 an ounce! The formula is super lightweight, and I like the scent of the oil, so this will be a luxe nighttime skin treat for me for the next week! (And it is free of parabens, phthalates, and sulfates!)

Klorane Floral Eye Make Up Remover – 25 ml Value $2

This isn't a super-exciting item for me, but it is a useful one. Plus this is designed to be a gentle formula.

Hanae Mori Hanae Perfume Sample - 1.2 ml Value $1.75

This perfume is super sweet and fruity. It's not something I would pick out for myself, but I can't stop smelling the sample!

Mally Beauty High Shine Liquid Lipstick in Berrylish -.09 oz - Value $15

(Subscribers will receive one of several shades).

This is a good sized sample (3/4 the size of the full-size version). And the applicator tip a brush instead of the standard lip gloss applicator:

It is a highly pigmented formula, but you can use it sparingly if you want just a little color and shine. Here it is swatched:

Verdict: This box has a value of about $46. It doesn't really feel like a $46 box to me, though - I'm not sure exactly why. Maybe because some of the samples seem on the smaller side? At least the Divine Youth Oil alone almosts covers the cost of the box!

I just started getting the Allure Beauty Box last month, and finally received my Nov. box yesterday (took a long time getting here)! So far, I would have to give a ‘thumbs up’ for this subscription box. All the products are high quality and I can use everything included in box. In this months assortment, my fave is probably the Hanae fragrance and the L’Occitane (?) facial oil.

at first I wasn’t impressed with this box just because the samples ARE SO SMALL, but looking at it now I will actually use everything I received, and the brands they include are very high end that majority of which I wouldn’t purchase unless I was able to try it first. im still testing the waters with allure this was my third box, ill give it a few more before I decide if I love or not

Anyone know how to contact them? I didn’t get the L’Occitane Divine Youth and can’t find anywhere how to contact customer service.

I think this subscription service has been less and less appealing over the last couple of years. I’m waiting it out through the holidays to see if they get a little better, but Boxycharm is the BEST so far!

I love Allure!!! I received the color Starburst in Mally and it’s perfect!! It has shimmery sparkles in it! I will use everything in the box and couldn’t be happier ?

I really like this box! Seems well put together. Love L’OCCITANE!

Despite the physical sizes of the samples being smaller than what we are used to, I appreciate the quality of them. I love L’Occitane’s Divine line and am always stoked to get something from it. I’m a sucker for light weight facial oils and serums, so I was happy to recieved the sample of their oil in this box.

I love Klorane products too. Even though makeup remover isn’t very exciting, it’s definitely on the top of my most consumed list. I always have an use for makeup remover.

My lip gloss was in Peach Sorbet, which is a light peachy pink. It’s not my style, so I’ll probably put it up for swap. It does smell nice though (am I the only one who expects food named shades to smell like the food?).

Everything else was okay. With the holiday season coming up, I’m happy to have little extras for stocking or mini gift baskets. Though the sizes were on the lower size, I’m happy with the brands and quality represented.

I received my box yesterday. I’m spoiled by the oil, too! I read through the accompanying booklet and was sort of surprised by the editors’ candor and honesty, and it is so refreshing and appreciated! As to the Kevin Murphy Anti-Gravity serum for hair, the editor dvises blow-drying afterward, but says “when we air-dried using the serum, it actually made our hair more limp”. That’s all I had to read about that product. I have color-treated, and always let my hair air-dry, so that’s one product I’ve been warned away from. I’ve gotten the Hanae Mori perfume sample from somewhere else before, and do find it candy-sweet cloying. We are warned in the booklet about the Crabtree & Evelyn Verbena and Lavender bath & shower gel that “you have to squeeze like you mean it to get this semi-thick gel out of the bottle” ~ such honesty! I’m going to try it in the shower tonight (with both hands) but it does smell lovely! I received the “Starburst” Mally High-Shine lipstick, which is a perfect shade for me, so very happy with that. We’ve been warned that the editor of the mag experienced “panic” because the Klorane Floral Eye makeup Remover caused some tingling for her, but no subsequent burning or irritation. I didn’t have that reaction, but i appreciate the heads-up just the same. All in all, I think I’m most excited about the L’Occitane Divine Youth Oil in this box.

Give the hair serum a try! I have curly hair that turns into an afro if I blow dry it, so I always air dry. I’ve used the serum twice now and it’s definitely made my curls more voluminous without any limp/heaviness. I was very hesitant at first, too, but this is probably now my favorite item in the box.

Thanks, Lindsay, I think I will try it now!

I hope I get that same berry lip color; it’s beautiful!

Joy

Agreed! Beautiful color! I’m tired of all the pale pink ones we get in boxes.

Me too, I’m sick of bright pink.
