This is not a new sub. They used to send you 4 square cards a month, no stamps, that you get to choose from their site. It was 15$.
I cancelled for 2 reasons.
1- before signing up I checked their site, where they offer their cards ( all with photographs) . They had a great selection, all types of imges, from artsy to cheesy, so I jumped in. Except that when it was time to choose, you had way less options. They would only add 4 new each month. The problem was that most of the options were totally not my style, so I would end up choosing always the same photos.
2- their cards are very nice quality, and since they are square it means extra postage. I wouldn’t mind it so much, except that I send cards outside of the US and the cost was a bummer.
So I have contacted them to see if this 2 issues were the same or not, especially the lack of choice. I still haven’t heard from them, but I will keep you posted.

I think Liz just meant that the quarterly box is new – it is also new for them to include a kid’s option, and to include “goodies” with the subscription. I always received postage with my monthly subscription. Many of their cards are my style, but I also found I chose several not because I liked them, but because I thought the person I wanted to send the card to would like it. I have a hunch the first box has the cards pictured, but we’ll see! Their customer service is fantastic (I’ve received personal emails directly from one or the other of the founders!), so I imagine you’ve received helpful answers already. (:

This does not look to me like it is from the Quarterly company. Only that this box is four times a year. I could be wrong though.

Tempting, but it’s from Quarterly so that settles it.

Sorry for the confusion – this box ships quarterly, but is NOT from Quarterly!
