Saga T-Shirt - Value $10?

This month's shirt is based on the Sci-Fi comic Saga. I haven't read Saga - so I had to go browse around to find out more info, and it seems like an interesting title and has a lot of good reviews! Has anyone read Saga?

Green Lantern Ring - Value $1-2

I can't lie, I was like a little kid when I saw this one. This is definitely one of the cheaper versions of the ring on the market - but this is just the small item from the box, and every month, that item is pretty low-cost - but this is one of my favorites! It's too small, so I'll be including it in a future Geek Box Grab Bag - but it is cool, and lights up!

Deadpool vs. Thanos #1 - Value $3.99

I immediately pulled this one out and read it. It's hard not to enjoy a Deadpool comic, and if you were ever wondering what it'd be like if Thanos fought Deadpool one on one, this would be one to check out!

Mad Max Comic – Max Part One – Value $4-5

We had already received this item in the July 2015 Nerd Block Classic. This will be an easy one to gift, I read it in July and loved it, and plan on continuing the series. On top of that - we loved the movie!

Danger Girl: Renegade #1 - Value $3.99

This is a new one to me, and I love IDW comics - so I'm excited to read it.  This one is as a Comic Block exclusive variant cover.

Mirror's Edge Exordium - Value $3.99

I know this was a pretty popular video game a couple of years ago, and that there's a new game coming out next year - beyond that, that's all I know! This series explores the back story of Mirror's Edge main character, Faith.

Verdict: I was very happy with this month's Comic Block! Typically, we'd receive 3 comics, a shirt, and a small item - this month we received it all, plus an extra comic! I'm glad to see even more value added without removing an item! I wasn't a huge fan of the shirt this month, but I'm betting I may become one once I start into the Saga series! On top of that, I really enjoyed all the other items this month, it's just too bad the ring only fits my pinky!

Argh a bit bummed that I missed this one. Saga is one of my favourite comics. Mirrors edge looks interesting too. I like that they do not focus too much on Marvel. I like this month.

Deadpool versus THANOS??? That shouldn’t take more than one page, much less a mini series. O.O

Deadpool: “Hello-”
Thanos: *squish*

The End.

If anyone wants to swap their ring, hit me up. My oldest son wanted it and my youngest stole it and broke it within 2 minutes. So I have one very sad kiddo…

The shirt was a huge bust for us this month as well. I’m glad the new spoilers for the next box look muuuuuch better!

Saga! If it had Lying Cat on it I’d be all over it! As it is, I’d love to get a 2X in it for my brother if anyone is looking to trade. My name is linked to my profile. 🙂
