Each box comes with a fold out card detailing the product including and why it is a “hero.”

They also detail the ingredients, benefits or “superpowers” of those ingredients, and provide details on the brand.

And this box came with a step-by-step guide from In Fiore as well.

Treate Cleansing Emulsion – FULL SIZE Value $58

This cleanser is a mix between a cleansing milk and a cleansing creme. I absolutely love the natural scent too.

This Cleansing Emulsion is meant to be used with the Lustra Illuminating Cleansing Essence below as part of the 4-2-4 Cleansing Method:

4 minutes: Massage face-neck-décolleté with Lustra Illuminating Cleansing Essence for four minutes. This lipophilic remedy penetrates deeply to remove impurities. For added exfoliating benefits, add Lustra Exfoliating Floral Compound 2-3x per week.
2 minutes: Layer on top Treate Gentle Cleansing Emulsion and massage for two minutes. Emulsified oils treat without stripping the skin or disrupting its protective pH balance.
4 minutes: Begin the rinse with warm water, and finish with cold water. Start with warm water for two minutes, followed by two minutes of cold. This stimulates circulation and lymphs, revitalizing the skin.

Lustra Illuminating Cleansing Essence – (30 ml Travel Size) Value $30

This cleansing essence is an oil-based formula. If you’re used to using oil cleansers, this one is very similar. It smells amazing like the Cleansing Emulsion too. I now want to try/smell every product In Fiore makes!

To properly review these items, I had to try the 4-2-4 method! I’m not one to stray from beauty routines (especially if they involve adding on time), hence my stacks of unused 30+ minute masks! Anyway, I wasn’t sure if I would like a three-step, 10-minute cleansing process, but I gave it a go! I started out by massaging the Lustra onto my face for a few minutes. (Important to note – not sure if I was supposed to use makeup remover wipes first, but I thought the best test would be on a full face of makeup).

Next I added on the Cleansing Emulsion milk. (This is a non-sudsing cleanser). When I added this step, I could see my foundation coming off easily, then I started rinsing after 2 minutes.

Confession – I probably didn’t spend a full 4 minutes rinsing my face off with warm then cold water. (It was starting to feel a little too repetitive and unnecessary). So we’ll call it my 4-2-2 method!

I really like the results – all makeup was removed and my skin felt super clean but not stripped/dry. And I just love the natural scents of these products! If you are looking for a luxurious, natural cleanser beauty ritual – I think this is it!

If you want your face clean in under 2 minutes – probably not!

Verdict: This month’s box has a value of $88. I think that’s great since it is over double the cost and features a full-size item. Plus the In Fiore brand is new to me! I love discovering a new natural/luxe line!

What do you think of the October 2015 Beauty Heroes box? Is the 4-2-4 cleansing ritual something you would try?
