Rachel- So far I have loved almost everything you have put into your boxes! Great job curating each box (but I have come to expect nothing but awesome from you since your style is always so impeccable and beautiful!!). My question is this: What is the process that you go through to curate each box? How do you pick each item & has there been an item that you REALLY wanted to put into your box that you couldn’t get? If so, what is the item? I could ask a million more questions; I would just LOVE to pick your brain someday!! Also, the new show is FABULOUS!!! I LOVE IT!!

What’s the Instye piece as we transition from summer to fall this year as we go from warmer days and nights to colder weather? What do you suggest a wrap, long sweater, etc. What’s going to be in style this year?

I’d like to ask Rachel if she and/or her team test and use all the items in the box as they’re deciding what to choose and would also love to know if there have been items that didn’t make the cut.

Rachel:

Do you have any suggestions on how plus sized women can look stylish without breaking the bank? It seems that less expensive plus sized clothing is only about comfort and not really style.

Thanks.

P.S. I just subscribed for the winter box and I’m very excited!

Yes, this!!! What are the best go-to current style pieces to flatter extra curvy girls?

Rhianna

This is such a great question. I’ve often found the same thing. Gwynne Bee has been very helpful in this department. It’s a great clothing sub.

I’d love to know, too! Thanks for asking!

Great question! I’d like to know this too.

Rachel – you are simply impeccable, in all your endeavors. I’ve been a fan since Season 1 of “The Rachel Zoe Project.”

As I get older (late 20s), I’m trying to make an effort to purchase clothing and accessory pieces that are high quality and will last me for years, and that also are made in US or have a strong social conscious throughout their manufacturing chain.

As you can imagine, that decreases my options dramatically. Being so in-tune with the fashion industry, are there any brands you’d recommend that fit those parameters? Ones I’ve been frequenting lately are quite minimal in their aesthetic, but it’s nice to have the option to be a bit more dramatic.

Hi Rachel! Obsessed with every box so far-they are the best! It is also extra special because of your videos explaining the items you selected, so please keep doing this and curating so fabulously! Can you show us what you carry in your day to day bag? I think it says so much about a person’s life in so little time if we can see in her purse. So please dump out the contents and explain away! Thanks!

Received my first box of style a few weeks ago and love it! I’ve gotten so many compliments on basically everything in it.

Could you speak more to how you and your team go about selecting the items you include in the boxes?

RZ,
Subscription boxes will never be the same. Absolutely love box of style.
What inspired you to do a subscription box in the first place?
Had you ever tried one and if so which one?

Hello I am a 56 year old who believes that every one should honor and respect themselves. Too many women are always giving or caring for others and just don’t put themselves first which is a shame. I think that your box of style could support and care for women in a positive way! Fashion is important but just think how these coukd boost self esteem in endearing ways!
Now my next question is what about boxes for wonen who are older?
Keep up the good work and I look forward to each quarter!

You send a styling tool accessory in every box so far. My question would be what is an item almost everyone already has that can be used in a way most people wouldn’t think of? I like using a flat iron to “iron” collars and other small areas on clothes instead of breaking out the iron and ironing board, but I’m sure you know of some way more creative tips and tricks.

Rachel I just love the Box of Style and I can’t wait to watch your new show tonight.
I’m 49 years old and I’ve always thought I have pretty good sense of style. But as I’m getting older I find my confidence wavering. What advice do you have on still staying stylish without looking like I’m dressing to young for my age?
Thank you.

Hey Rachel, I’ve seen advertisements for your new show and in one spot you were asked “silver or gold” and you wholeheartedly said “gold.” Your boxes have thus far had only gold jewelry.

My question is: why the hate for silver toned jewelry? Are we ever going to see silver tones or the chance to pick white gold over yellow gold?

I love your box but have never purchased one myself yet. I was wondering if u have ever considered doing a mini box ? Something half the price, that maybe has its own separate hero item appropriate for the cost? That would be awesome for people on a smaller budget!

Melissa

Yes!!! This. Please!! I want a RZ box so much, but my wallet doesn’t allow.

Rhi

Ohhh!!! This is an amazing question!!! I want to get the Box of Style, but my budget can’t handle it right now, so a mini version would be perfect!!

Yes!!! Great suggestion!

Hi Rachel!!!
Thank you so much for such a fabulous subscription!
Who are some of your biggest current style inspirations and favorite clients to style?
If I had $500 to buy just one item this fall, what should I purchase?
Chunky or smooth pb?

Great question!

Rachel, would you ever consider doing a monthly subscription?

Loving your box – is there a chance of sterling silver jewelry in a future box – would love it!

What is your most used or worn item? Can you recommend a versatile piece for this season?

So awesome!

Hi Rachel – just wanted to know… out of the past three boxes, what was your personal favorite item and why? 🙂

Rachel-Love Box of Style. Do you plan on including any of your designs in future boxes? Can we please have another spoiler for the Winter Box? Thank you and your team for making Box of Style the best subscription box!

My tween daughter loves your show and Project Runway (has met Tim Gunn and several cast members). She has her own very unique sense of style (stole the fedora from my box) that doesn’t match with her peers. Any advice on helping her keep that sense of style and her identity as she moves into being a teenager?

Is there ever going to be variation from one subscriber to another subscriber in the Box of Style or all Box of Styles going to be same.

Can we get some silver jewelry this year?

Reply ButtonReply

Maria

Thank you for sharing your impecable taste through your Box of Style. I have loved every box, and look forward to the next. I would love to know if you have any collaboration in mind?

Tamara

I’m impressed that you’ve managed to avoid the audience’s size variation issues (i.e. we all take different clothing sizes) -the small fedora not withstanding.

How confident are you that you will be able to continue to do so and for how long?

If/when you do start including sized clothing items, will you include plus sizes?

What would be three key pieces for winter fashions and three key pieces for the upcoming spring fashions?
