I’ve picked up a couple of Julep mystery boxes but it took me until now to actually try one of the polishes. (Yes, I have a polish problem….) Have to say I’m not impressed. I put on three coats of Connie (a nice fuchsia) and it still looks blotchy and see-through in places. Think I’ll stick to my Zoya and OPI.
And here’s a question for Julep users: there’s a spot on top of the brush to swatch. But how do you swatch when it’s the other end of the brush? Do you pour some out and dip it in? Or tap it onto the top of the bottle?

I agree. The formula isn’t for me. It’s either super thick or super runny. I just can’t seem to ever get a good result. Cancelled after a few months. As for the swatch, the cap is actually detachable. You can pull or yank it off, paint your swatch, then put it back on. It took me forever to figure that out!! ?

Thank you, Shannon – I’ll give that a try – it would never occur to me to take off the top of the cap!
And yes, super runny is the perfect way to describe it.

Oops, accidentally tapped submit…..this may be the one!

I really want to sign up but I keep waiting for a free box that appeals to me. Thus far I’m not impressed with them in general.
