Tangle Teezer - Value $15
I've received one of these brushes before in a subscription box, and they are great for detangling wet or dry hair. Here is a better look at the brush part:
It gives you a bit of a head massage too!
Jane Iredale Smooth Affair Facial Primer + Brightener - 7 ml Value $6.70
Based on the packaging, I was expecting this primer to have a bronze tint to it, but it goes on clear. It has a subtle citrus scent and left my skin super smooth - I'm a fan!
Pixi Glow Tonic - 15 ml Value $1.75
(Good to know for swaps - comes with foil seal).
This is an alcohol-free toner. It was gentle on my skin, and I like that the glycolic acid helps exfoliate too.
And this sample also came with a Pixi
Alterna Caviar Anti Aging Replenishing Moisture Milk - .85 oz Value $5
I love the Alterna brand! All their products smell amazing, and they are free of parabens, sulfates, phthalates, etc. This leave-in spray left my hair super soft without weighing it down. (One piece of advice though - the sample spray nozzle didn't spray this out in a uniform spritz, so I sprayed it into my hand then applied it to my hair).
Kaplan MD Cellular Rejuvenating Concentrate - 3 ml Value $17
Wow - this product retails for $170 an ounce! 3 ml isn't enough of a sample size for me to properly evaluate if it improves my skin, but I do think the little dropper sample is adorable. And this serum is free of parabens, sulfates, gluten, etc.
Erno Laszlo Firmarine Bar Soap - .6 oz Value $2.88
These Erno Laszlo soap samples are so tiny! But it's such a luxe soap I don't mind. They're great for travel.
Soap & Glory Pillow Plump Lip XXL Lip Gloss in Pinkwell - 4 ml Value $5.60
This lip gloss has a lot of shine (Swatched below) and a good amount of pigment too. It has a chocolate/cake batter like flavor (love it), but I'm not too crazy about the tingling part of this formula. The info booklet described it as "Pop Rocks on your lips," and I'd say that's pretty accurate!
Verdict: This box has a value of about $54. I think that's a great value, and I like the inclusion of the Tangle Teezer brush! The only item I won't keep using is the lip gloss - way too much tingling!
