This month’s theme is “MELT”.  The wrap designs are from Scratch founder, Chelsea Kent.  The insert card says that the wraps are inspired by the summer heat and how desert heat waves play tricks on our eyes.

Bee Happy Nail Wrap - Summer Sale Value: $8.00

These are so cute!! Last month I figured out a way to cut the wraps down to put on Abigail’s toes.  It was really cute.  I’m going to save these to dress her little piggies.  I think it will be super cute and unique.

Shape Up Nail Wrap - Summer Sale Value: $8.00

This wrap is my least favorite of the three. I’m really liking the see-through wraps, though.

Ginger+Liz Protect Nourish Remove Nail Lacquer Remover Wipes - Value: $9.00

I’m so excited to try these out on Abigail.  Sometimes she has little cuts on her fingers and the acetone polish remover stings.  Online it says these prevent your nail beds from splitting and are great for expecting mothers because of it’s light fragrance.

Honey Bee Key Ring - Value: $10.00?

Aww!  It’s so cute.  I don’t know the actual brand, but I found a variety of the same charm on Etsy around this price range.  Side Note: I’ve been stung by a bee, and still run from bees, but still think character bees are cute… is that weird or what?!

KM Nail Glue 2g- Value: $1.00

I believe that this is for acrylic nails only.  I could be wrong.  I’ve never used glue like this before, so I think I will pass this along to a friend with acrylic nails just to be safe.

I wish this item came with instructions.

Nail Accent - Value: $1.00

I wish that there were a few more in the bag just in case I mess up, lose one down the sink or drop it on the carpet and then can't find it. (Who's done that before?)

Monthly Mani Box by Scratch Subscription Box Review July 2015 - 20

Verdict:  This month’s box had an estimated value of $47.00.  I really enjoy this subscription and the curation.  You can really see that Scratch really thinks each box through and finds the coolest gifts that tie everything together.  The application process is fairly easy for adult fingers; and there are a ton of tutorials available on the Scratch website for those that want to take it to the next level.

I have always been intrigued by nail wraps but am such a make up and nail beginner (even at my age never really experimented with the stuff although I am drawn to it – go figure) that I have never tried them. How easy/hard are nail wraps?

Celicia, I am the same way about bees. I run from pretty much any insect that flies (including ladybugs!) especially if they have stingers! But I love the bee design. Cute key chain!

This is the first I’ve heard of Scratch. It seems you get a lot for your money. Speaking of other companies, I have trouble with their wraps sticking/staying place on my nails. They always fall off within the hour, if not sooner of applying. I’ve used a hairdryer, etc as I was advised and nothing. How are these at staying place? Would I have the same trouble?
If not may have to give it a try, would hate to spend $30 if they aren’t going to work though.

These don’t require a hair dryer or wait time. They’re essentially stickers, but better quality than the NCLA nail wrap/stickers. I find they last about a week for me with a top coat (always run the top coat brush over the nail tips and just under) before starting to peel at the tips. The clear wraps last even longer on me for some reason, maybe because I usually use polish underneath.

You can definitely use the nail glue on natural nails, especially since it’s meant to be used to glue the cactus charms on top of the wraps (or a couple layers of polish) so the glue doesn’t actually touch your bare nail. Scratch often sends out charms that go along with the designs that month and nail glue. I’ve been a subscriber since their Kickstarter and I love it! But I wish they would bring back collabs with bloggers, etc. This month is the first I’ve loved in a few months and I’ve skipped next month.

I bet the nail glue is to glue on the cacti charms?
